shotsup 833 Posted November 29, 2016 Far enough away. Eat at Umbertos Clam House and get your desserts at Ferrara Bakery. If you want Chinese that Chinese people eat go to Wo Hop on Mott street. Other side of Canal Street from Little Italy. It's in the basement but the food is great.

BunnysBastatrds 2,544 Posted November 30, 2016 Hey Shots, you ever been to Monas? The Italian place that is famous for serving Sinatra on Thanksgiving when they were closed? Best meatballs and spaghetti I ever had. Very formal and expensive, but worth it.

Some names escape me but one Italian place on 10th Ave was a great restaurant set behind a pasta shop. It was not the influence for Scenes of an Itialian Restaurant by Billy Joel however if was the setting of the picture on the back of the album The Stranger. I ordered two meat ball and spaghetti's and only ate the meatballs and sauce with the bread. Damn memory. Went to Sylvia's last time I was there. Wasn't impressed at at all. Ordered wine and it came in a twist cap. Was fun going to Harlem though. And that's why we went there. Went to say we did it. The cab drive back to Times Square was better. Was on the Howard Stern show three times (2 on radio and once WOR TV show). Ironically my friend growing up - his dad was Friends with Jackienthe Jokeman. Smoked pot with him at 13/14 years old. Was a nice reunion years later on the show. Had lunch with him and stuttering John. So much more. Oh yeah Trump. Worked for his son inlaw Jared Kushner for a couple years. Forget about him - Ivanka
