Testimony from those people might actually be obstruction of the current DOJ investigation into the FBI/CIA. The financial records/tax returns aren't to be used in search of a crime. You must produce evidence of a crime to launch an investigation.

Plus, there's a ton of 'evidence" (not proof) already. They have every right to ask for everything they've asked for. Trump refused to be interviewed by Mueller because he knew he was either telling the truth and proving collusion or lying and getting nailed with perjury. Trump had his boy, Barr, lie about the report. And then waited almost three weeks to release the redacted report. That's three weeks where his false narrative was out there for the public. The 'no collusion, no obstruction' lie. Trump doesn't want McGhan telling the country that Trump told him to fire Mueller. He doesn't want lawyers to question Barr. It will make the cover up explode in his face.
Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted June 20, 2019 Faux Newbie just as retarded, I'll give him that much. Barr didn't have to produce ANYTHING of the report. And waiting 3 weeks...........that was because it took that long to identify what was Grand Jury material that is prohibited by Law to be released. Had Mueller identified that material as requested by Barr, it would have been released immediately. Why would Mueller refuse to identify it? Simple; he wanted the AG to release Grand Jury info or create the delay for stooges to point at saying "LOOK! It's taking 3 weeks! COVER UP!!!!" Trump's been under the false narrative for 3 focking years about Russian collusion.

Again, zero legit explanation on why Trump is stonewalling and covering up everything that congress wants to look into. Although, we both know why you don't have an answer for that. Because it's the biggest cover up in our country's history.

Baker Boy 1,699 Posted June 21, 2019 Nine Obama administration officials also invoked the Fifth Amendment. Here’s a list in case you forgot: Who can forget about IRS Director, Lois Lerner who pled the Fifth Amendment twiceover allegations that the IRS had “targeted conservative nonprofit groups for additional scrutiny of their applications for tax-exempt status.” The first time Lerner plead the Fifth Amendment was in May 2013, while appearing before the Senate Finance Committee. The second time Lerner pled the Fifth Amendment was in March 2014while appearing before the House Oversight Committee. In April 2012, General Services Administration (GSA)’s Jeffrey Neelyinvoked his Fifth Amendment right when the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee called Neely to testify about improper spending. Neely also invoked his Fifth Amendment right after photos emerged of Neely sitting in a bathtub with wine at GSA’s Western Regions Conference in 2010 in Las Vegas, which spent $822,000 in taxpayer money. Patrick Cunningham, chief of the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona, invoked his Fifth Amendment in January 2012in connection with the Fast and Furious scandal. Deputy Director of the IRS Greg Roseman pled the Fifth in January 2013, after Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) started asking Roseman about “panel findings that he helped a friend procure potentially $500 million worth of IRS contracts.” Then there is the formerState Department Employee Bryan Pagliano, who famously invoked his Fifth Amendment right over his involvement in setting up Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server in September 2015. Former Department of Veterans Affairs officials John Sepulveda,Diana Rubens, and Kimberly Graves, as well as former Environmental Protection Agency official John Beale, all invoked their Fifth Amendment rights as well. https://ntknetwork.com/flashback-nine-obama-administration-officials-who-pled-the-fifth-to-congress/
