Al Gore’s Home Devours 34 Times More Electricity Than Average U.S. Household

Recommended Posts

But you guys are forgetting all about his carbon offsets!

Yeah, I don't know what the hell that is either. I have a better chance of understanding Bitcoins.

but In fairness, what the author clearly is not understanding is that Al is growing massive amounts of dank to need that much energy.

Making America Green again!

So, fast review of the interweb reveals the following.

I

In general, the story is more or less true as an overall theme.

Numbers are kind of all over the place, but whether you're 10 times 15 times or 20 times higher is pretty much irrelevant.

The big fly here is pretty obvious though. Al's home is about 4 times the size of the quote average us home. And most average US homes don't have a swimming pool.

Think we need to be careful with verbage here as regards numbers as well. I mean if Al's home consumed 3 times as much as the average home then you could say it consumes 300% more. Something seems dodgy in the verbiage area - maybe mixing and matching percentage differential with words like X times. But need to go back and read the article.

True. But that isn't what Raiders said.

I am done responding, anyone who would think I was comparing myself the the Eskimos and the Aboriginies then there is no point going on

The original response was to Newbtard, who said Al Gore does more than me, and I said I do more than Al Gore and my response was obviously 1st world

Most rational people knew exactly what you meant. Good work on the eco-friendly lifestyle.

We recycle but, we could do much more. Don't because of convenience, I would like to make some of the changes you have made but, life happens.

Seeing as Al Gore put a lot of time and money in his house to make it more enviro-friendly, this stinks to high hell like a fact-devoid hit piece. I'd like to see some evidence for this.

Seeing as he's rich, I presume he has a really big house in a really nice neighborhood and surely much larger than the average home. Knowing what I know of Gore, I presume the odds are high that he has a lower carbon footprint than almost everyone else in his neighborhood.

Why does Al Gore own a 10 million dollar oceanside house in Montecito, California if the shore is disappearing? Seems like a bad investment. If he goes to sell surely he will let the new buyers know the home won't be in there in a few decades right?

It is a fact that Al is the biggest Charlatan since George Psalmanazar.

It is a fact that Al is the biggest Charlatan since George Psalmanazar.

For example, he sold his Network current to Al Jazeera America for a f****** bundle. Yeah Trump made tens of millions of dollars selling a mansion he never stepped foot in to some Russian oligarch, but Al Gore made hundreds of Millions.

Like I said, both sides get paid for access. Ain't nothing new but the size of the money.

Now this is funny - you obviously were just patting yourself on the back, and hadn't thought it through. Thank goodness another poster bailed you out.

Regardless, owning a big a big house and having kids, there is no way you're less eco-impactful than 95% of 1st world people.

actually I have been living off the grid for 3 years, my electric bill is 0, I have a well for water, and I have 2 windmills as well. I also recycle everything I can, and drive two effecient vehicles

I guarantee I do more than 95% of the people as far as a carbon footprint

however, I dont feel man has cause global warming err.......climate change, so I am a denier, and I dont feel like throwing money at Al Gore and Green companies is an alleged solution so I am a science denier.

I just think its good and smart financial and responsible to live the way I do

I also grow as much of my own vegetables as possible

I am also not dependant on anyone if ###### goes south

jeez you guys are idiots, I said I DO MORE

Dude, give it up. All you had to admit was 95% was a bit overblown. I still applaud your efforts, as you are doing far better than many people in this country.

And Joel Osteen lives in a 30 million dollar mansion. Shouldn't he live in a $100,000 house and donate the rest to the needy?

It seems as if you party runs in this very idea. Boy you are stupid.

Take from the wealthy and give to the needed. The Decmorat's way.

Idiots like you that believe Gore's propaganda are just as funny. Not surprising coming from a tax dodging narsissist from the Jersey area.
