seafoam1 1,883 Posted September 21, 2017 Given the dreadful state of the 49ers passing game, do you think the Rams simply give one on one matchups with their corners and completely go all in to stop Hyde?
Law 220 Posted September 21, 2017 I was initially pleased that I had nothing in this dreadful game other than Ogletree. That's what you want in a TNF game, an IDP! Then I realized I may need to use Garcon. Cringe. I thought he'd be a high target guy, Hoyer's not that bad, and the with coach they could do some things. No so far. I had some higher expectations for Hoyer this year. I hope its just a timimg thing for them to get on the same page. And if the receivers could stop dropping passes, that could help. We Tigers 71 Posted September 21, 2017 Hoyer's bad, but even he could beat one-on-one if they were to try it consistently. I'm sure the Rams creep a safety up for Hyde fairly often, but I like both Hyde and Gurley as top-tier RB plays this week. Neither the 49ers nor the Rams have shown me that they're great defenses yet. I'll take two aggressive offensive-minded coaches over those defensive units at this point in the season, at least as far as the run games are concerned. weepaws 2,515 Posted September 21, 2017 I'm sure Hyde has the bulls eye on his back tonight. He is the focal point of the Niners success. I'm playing the Rams d tonight so I will see what happens soon enough.

tanatastic 2,061 Posted September 21, 2017 49ers last 22 games... vs. Rams: 3-0 vs. Rest of the league: 0-19 This real? This is alarming.
Fearsome 22 Posted September 21, 2017 This real? This is alarming. Very real. The 49ers last win against a team other than the Rams came on December 6, 2015 against the Chicago Bears, a 26-20 win in OT at Soldier Field.
oldtimer 84 Posted September 21, 2017 I was listening to ESPN earlier and one of the "sports betting" guys was on. He claims the game will be a single TD victory for the Rams. I really don't care as I have no one going in this game tonight, so it's a "free" night of football for me. I only posted for you guys that like to bet. For the record, I wouldn't touch this game with cash on the line. The 49'ers have had their number, but the Niner's also need to keep pace with the Jets to get their future QB in the 2018 draft. I don't see them winning over a game or two this season. The Defensive Line has the guys to be dominant in another year. They can't stop the pass though and the rest of the defense is too young to be counted on week in and week out. They definitely have the pieces in place to be a dominant defense in the coming years though.
weepaws 2,515 Posted September 21, 2017 I have the Rams as well but am playing Cleveland over them. Browns is a very good play. Good luck with them. I'm keeping the Rams because I do t want to spend a move on a def at this time. So we will see. Thanks for the reply

seafoam1 1,883 Posted September 22, 2017 Well, 84 yards rushing, 3 catches for 10, and 2 TDs. I'll take that against a stout defensive line. Bring on Arizona.
