LOL, NFL players are so sensitive

Recommended Posts

the 4th didn't have much in it but the stat I quoted the 3rd, what I was after, and I couldn't decipher the DOJ stats, but this had it in it

The analysis

Its true that around 13 per cent of Americans are black, according to the latest estimates from the US Census Bureau.

And yes, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, black offenders committed 52 per cent of homicides recorded in the data between 1980 and 2008. Only 45 per cent of the offenders were white. Homicide is a broader category than murder but lets not split hairs.

if you follow the BJS there is a very in depth PDF that is kinda hard to follow but the statistics are backed up there

Last I checked, nobody is kneeling down for murders so just so I understand your position, are you saying police officers are justified in using extreme measures, sometimes resulting in fatalities, against all African Americans, regardless of age or perceived crime all because stats say African Americans commit 52% of the homicides?

Here's a thought. Why doesn't everyone who hates this country ###### LEAVE it and go to whatever NIrvana they think exists.

Im fine with that. Glad hillary didnt win and am glad obama is history albeit bad history.

No I am saying when facing a group that commits a large amount of crime compared to their numbers it makes sense that cops are on edge in some circumstances. Then when they refuse to listen things can escalate fast

You know what nobody is protesting? The fact that black men are absent in their kids lives to the tune of 72% and black women are married to the state

You can't argue the truth in this emotional issue. Many black men in 2017 are still blaming slavery for their underwhelming achievements in their lives. Oh well, boast about bagging some chick then leave her and the kids alone with the the mom who has to give birth and then self support.. Oh well.....

The latter has been heavily protested by the tea party and conservatives in general for some time now and you can’t go a week without someone complaining about “welfare queens”. The issue has gotten so much play that you’d think it costs tax payers as much as medicare\medicaid, social security and defense spending.

medicare, medicaid, and the current implementation of social security are all forms of social welfare.

your argument is like complaining if I say damn a new car costs alot, and your response is well, its not as much as a house

medicare, social security, defense spending, and welfare are all equally broken and all need fixing

They are justified in extreme measures against all people who don't follow the rules. Crap. Why do some people just have a hard time with that when it comes to public safety?

And yes, that includes black people. And I dont know if 52% is accurate but if it is then that is massive given their population compared to the rest of the country.

Almost as sensitive as all the crybabies who won't watch a game they like because some other people aren't standing up for a song about a flag.

Or, maybe the game itself is starting to suck and is NOT as watchable as it was many years ago? Maybe? That why Ive backed off. Too many stoppages. Too much BS. Terrible general play and only like 2-3 teams that have a real chance. And, these spoiled brat, primadonnas ought to stand for an anthem and country that provides the means for them to live very well playing a game. Remember, most of these players are dumber than the day is long. Ya ever hear them talk during interviews? Wow.... focking mumbling idiots.

Because black people are perpetually mad.

I won't generalize that way like the Liberals do. It's not all black people. It's mostly the far left liberals and socialists for the most part. They want all white men of today to pay for the ills of the 17 and 1800's and even as most recently as 50 years ago. The fact is, racism does not exist to the extent that the media and liberals want everyone to believe. There are isolated incidents, sure, and those should be taken care of, but as a country? No, this country is not racist. All minorities, and women, have the same chances as every white man to make something of their lives. It all boils down to personal accountability. No one is telling kids to drop out of school. No one is telling kids to join gangs. No one is telling kids to commit crimes. IN FACT! Everyone is telling them NOT to do those things.

If a person grows up in a household which is totally funded by welfare, that person can stay in school... graduate (because - well - public school is free), and get any low-level job. Just because it starts low-level, it doesn't mean it has stay and end there. Places like McDonald's, Wendy's, et al, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Best Buy, Lowes... ALL hire 16 year old's and up all the time. ALL of them promote from within. A kid who grows up "in the hood", at 16 years old can get a job at a local Wal-mart. In 10 years, that kid has a chance to be a department supervisor if they work hard and show a commitment to working. At the age of 26, with no college education, they can be at the same point in their field as someone who did go to college.

EVERY PERSON, white, black, Hispanic, Asian, man, and woman in this country has that same chance. The only thing you have to do is... graduate high school, don't get (or get someone else), pregnant (before you can afford it), and stay the heck out of trouble (commit crimes). 100% of all people in THE WORLD is able to do that... and it's not hard. It's all about personal accountability. I know a lot of people of all races and religions, men and women, and even kids who agree with this, so it's not just black people, not just other minorities, not just millennials, and not just women who are a problem. The problem people are the hypocritical, racist, and lazy liberals who want white, male, conservatives to pay their way so they don't have to do anything and have an easy life.

Since your party/ego-maniacs are so perfect, why did bush take New Orleans' diking money to start his oil war? HE was the fault of N-O's flooding! Your boy bush was no saint..................and why do 3 different late night talk show hosts CONTINUALLY/NIGHTLY make fun of this clown you call trump? Ignorance is bliss I guess, your apology is accepted in advance....................

Dude, stop with this stupid argument already, it negates anything else you say. I'm a middle aged dude who has been watching late night talk show hosts since the 1970's. Guess what? They all make fun of whoever is in office and/or whoever is in the news making headlines. It means nothing. Quit using that thinking it's a legitimate argument. Hell, even Leno, a conservative made fun of W, all. the. time. It means nothing!

But Trump is a dream come true for comics. He's such an imbecile. It's just ridiculous. You have to admit, the guy is a total f'n moron. Rex was right about that.

So you are saying he is only a couple steps ahead of obama as far as smarts?

Try distinguishing intelligence from politics.

There are plenty of intelligent people on the right. Trump is not one of them.

Plenty of people who disagree with Obama on policy, would admit that he's an intelligent guy.

Because it’s not a public safety concern to pull over those driving while black, selling cigarettes while black, minding their own damn business while black. It used to be just a hassle to deal with, but now your life is in danger because too many cops with no accountability are too afraid of the black man.

Wish there were some mods here to lock this stuff.

Unfortunately this is part of football now which in turn affects fantasy. I wish this was all kept out of football. That has been my argument the whole time.

But for you, very simple solution. Don't click on this topic.

Trump does have a unique skill. He's a conman savant. He's like the Rainman of conning people. His base are the toothpicks.

Characterizing Trumps base in that way is probably not very helpful, even if it were true. Besides, theres plenty of people across the political spectrum that could be characterized similarly. A big part of the problem, IMO, is too many of us grow up in a bubble, rarely experiencing what others different from us, go through. In addition, most of us are indoctrinated by their parents world views and our higher learning tends to be very narrow in scope, just enough to meet a very specific career path, but that doesnt stop people from forming opinions on every subject, even when it counters experts in the field, so it doesnt particularly surprise me why a salesman (they are all con men, right?) like Trump was able to get 60+ million to vote for him. Dont think for one second had Trump ran as a Democrat and instead of saying dumb sh!t about Mexicans, he said dumb sh!t about southerners that he couldnt have won the nomination, because if you dont believe that then I have some swamp land in Florida I can sell you. :)

Never expressed any hatred, but thanks for making that up.

It should be locked because it is a political pissing match.

I come back because it's difficult to not look at a trainwreck.

Thank you for supporting this thread that discusses players in the NFL who don't know the difference between an idiom and a literal reference. It seems right up your alley.
