Stand your ground law

Is that your threshold? You're good with people's actions as long as they've never been "charged"?

In a courtroom yeah.

Lets just wait and see what happens now.

Fair enough . But I'll remember your threshold when railing against politicians actions who've never been "charged" in a court of law.

I've almost figured it out...

Manslaughter charges from 2018: Irrelevant when judging a man's character today

Multiple Instances in the last 5 years of threatening to shoot and kill people for traffic violations exactly as occurred here: Irrelevant when judging a man's character today

Wearing Baggy Clothes: Very relevant and telling in terms of a man's character today

Criminal Charges from 2011 and prior: Very relevant and telling in terms of a man's character today

It's a reasonably easy code to break.

I wouldn't. Even though it should be focking easy to predict. It's Florida. Only takes one person who thinks the way 90's does.

Oh, I just did some googling...The murder victim's arrest for aggravated battery a decade ago.....records show the charge was dropped.

So considering the stance and judgement standards you are taking with Drejka, you need to apologize profusely for thinking anything negatively of McGlockton. The guy was a standup citizen.

I said it was irrelevant because that is the particular charge that we are disputing right now. Understand? McGlockton has already be tried and convicted of his part crimes. If he were still alive now and the gun was never drawn he would be in jail for battery or aggravated assault.

Another assumption.

Its Inarguable that this Durka Durka guy is a scumbag with a quick temper who has pulled his gun on multiple people out of rage. This was inevitable. You could bump into this guys grocery cart and he would draw his weapon on you.

I see a guy who's stayed clean for 7 years. Maybe even turned his life around. What's that have to do with 2018?

Give me a focking break.

Give me a focking break.

He committed his crimes at the age of 21 or younger. No other criminal charges since 2011. Had a child. Maybe he grew up. Maybe having a child put him on the straight and narrow. All your link shows is he's been clean since 2011. Is it out of the question that he changed? Lots of people do. If it's out of the question, why?

I think you're taking it a bit far. I wouldn't say someone who shoves someone to the ground during an argument is exactly on the "straight and narrow".

He clearly didn't change, he assaulted/committed battery against Derjka on camera because he confronted his gf, which is another felony.

Has nothing to do with this case. Is it possible the dude feared for his life? Yes. Next case.

Ehh.

Under Florida Statutes, Section 784.041, the crime of Felony Battery includes intentionally touching or striking another person, resulting in great bodily harm. You could also be charged with Felony Battery if you are being charged after a prior conviction for the crime of Battery.

https://www.thelawplace.com/criminal-attorneys/felony-battery/

You could argue both.

I think you're just trolling, and here's why.

1. You admit you have no clue what was said. Threatening words or "fighting words", which I addressed earlier, can absolutely allow someone to defend themselves it they believe violence is immanent due to said words.

2. It's been proven djoker has threatened violence in the past over traffic disputes.

3. It's a fact Djoker started the confrontation.

4. It's plain as day the victim was backing away after he shoved Djoker down.

I'm out. Enjoy another cowardice murder under the guise of self defense/stand your ground.

It's pretty simple and there isn't really any sense in trying to demonstrate the point further..

iam90sbaby judges white people and black people by very different criteria, and he will do as many mental gymnastics as necessary to rationalize it.

90s is simply defending open carry and would do so vehemently regardless of the circumstance or facts. It’s a form of projection, in his mind he’s defending himself and his right to open carry.

where is the great bodily harm

sorry no

He likely would have got a sentence enhancement since he is already a convicted felon and violent offender.

edit: actually not likely he 100% would have.

Then you will accept whatever the verdict end up being in his manslaughter case if he pleads not guilty?

1. No one knows what was said.

2. No bearing on this case.

3. If your implication that his words about parking started it, he had no words with the attacker.

4. Attacker was moving toward him after the assault, he did back off when apparently seeing the weapon.

I'm glad the guy got charged. He didn't need to shoot.

Just brandishing the gun should have been enough.

Whats vague?

you say he didnt commit a crime. I say he did

What happens if a plea is accept and it never goes to trial? What if it is a mistrial? What if they downgrade the charge?

if he accepts a plea he is still charged with a crime, he just agrees to a lesser charge... You are saying he didnt commit a crime I am saying he did
