 I donate whole blood and platelets multiple times per year, through Versiti rather than Red Cross, and this has never been on the questionnaire that I complete before each donation.

“The nurse told my good friend @rictavius_ that if you received certain jabs within the last year, they won’t draw your blood”

Which is a lie.  Also under the x post lod quoted, “DC Draino” wrote something like “my friend called and was told that if he had been vaccinated he could not donate” (without the “certain jabs” and “one year” caveats he wrote on Instagram, even though of course the one year part was a lie)   But the liar deleted that post.

The main lie was when “DC Draino” said his “friend” was told they couldn’t donate if they were vaccinated, but he deleted that part on x/twitter.   He also wrote in the Instagram post his “friend” said they couldn’t donate “within 1 year if they received certain certain jabs.”  It’s only 2 weeks and only if you received a live attenuated vaccine that is not available in the US - which is why they ask the question.

So what’s your theory?  They still let the vaxx’ed donate but they ask the question because they won’t actually use the blood for patients?
