fftodayforums on the phone

Recommended Posts

So I haven't been around in years until recently, not used to this new forum software. How the f*** can you delete a quote box when editing a post that you're typing on your phone? I was in a thread that I wanted to reply to, accidentally quoted something, couldn't get rid of the quote. Even if I backed out and re-opened the thread that quote was still in the reply box. Had to go use a different device to type my reply. S***'s ridiculous!

also test:

shit

I read the thread title and thought you wanted me to call you up and read you threads over the phone instead of taking the time to read them yourself.  I charge $50 per hour for that.  I'll subcontract the work out and you will get a call from a call center in India where a man with a thick accent will read you rusty phrases like  "Clownzo Lickspittle"

I do not want civil war propaganda to poison my brain by hearing it aloud.

I think you need to have hair to take advantage of most of these features.  Sorry.

This place is a dump! Mike needs to increase the minimum wage for the hamsters he is hiring.

Speaking of dumps, have you seen MDC's new apartment?

I thought you wanted to move over to Clubhouse.

Clubhouse is an invitation-only audio-chat social networking app...

How old are some of you people that think phones are for listening to transcribed words? I mean music sure, videos, sure. I barely use my phone to make phone calls, let alone to listen to words which I could more easily just read.

Not sure about the phone, but on the iPad if you refresh the page, you’ll usually get a clear editor link in the reply box.

Try actually replying though.

1. Hit Quote (quote appears in the reply box)

2. Refresh the page (quote disappears from the reply box... or so it seems)

3. Put your cursor in the reply box (quote reappears! wtf mike)

Same result on Android/Chrome, PC/Chrome, and PC/Edge.

P.S. Take it to the fftodayforums on your iPad thread!

Works for me on both iPad and phone. :dunno:

Once the quote reappears, refresh the screen. That’s when I get an option to clear it in the quote box.

Works on PC. Doesn't work on the phone. I can delete the contents of the quote this way, but not the quote box itself.

You have to be in the text box below the quote.  The first backspace gets you to the quote box, the next backspace deletes the entire box and you can type what you want and then hit submit
