To speak well of Mondale, he served in the Korean War and he actually left politics at the age of 56.  Although its kinda tainted because he ran for and lost the US senate seat from Minnesota in 2002 but lost to Norm Coleman.

And then there was that Geraldine Ferrara thing. That didn’t work out as planned.

If I remember right Regan won almost every state but Walters home one.

Yes. Reagan won 49 states and 49% in Mondale’s home state. He only just barely avoided the broom.

Poor guy, if he could have lasted a few more hours, he would get to see Minneapolis explode again.

He seem like a okay guy and have nothing against him. Don't think he was corrupt like we have now.

Was a classic and Mondale had to be a all right guy to laugh at that.

Today, Liberals would get offended.

Yey and think that was a time both parties cared about America's future. Not anymore now!

Mondale would've been better than sleepy, creep joe. And Camel toe.

Mondale was alright. Bored righties would’ve wanted him strung up back in the day though

Mondale wasn’t so bad. He was a deficit hawk which is a rare breed in either party. Granted, he had his list of liberal goodies he wanted but he didn’t lie to us and refuse     to admit he’d raise taxes to pay for them. So he was honest in that regard and even if you didn’t like his priorities, and judging by his vote totals, few did, but it’s hard to hate him when he tells it to you straight.
