joeshushu 51 Posted April 20, 2021 Oh yea my bad. I guess I don’t remember anything about Mondale
JustinCharge 2,397 Posted April 20, 2021 To speak well of Mondale, he served in the Korean War and he actually left politics at the age of 56. Although its kinda tainted because he ran for and lost the US senate seat from Minnesota in 2002 but lost to Norm Coleman.
Mike Isles 583 Posted April 20, 2021 And then there was that Geraldine Ferrara thing. That didn’t work out as planned.

Voltaire 5,207 Posted April 20, 2021 Poor guy, if he could have lasted a few more hours, he would get to see Minneapolis explode again.

Kopy 559 Posted April 20, 2021 Mondale would've been better than sleepy, creep joe. And Camel toe.
IGotWorms 4,057 Posted April 21, 2021 Mondale was alright. Bored righties would’ve wanted him strung up back in the day though
Voltaire 5,207 Posted April 21, 2021 Mondale wasn’t so bad. He was a deficit hawk which is a rare breed in either party. Granted, he had his list of liberal goodies he wanted but he didn’t lie to us and refuse to admit he’d raise taxes to pay for them. So he was honest in that regard and even if you didn’t like his priorities, and judging by his vote totals, few did, but it’s hard to hate him when he tells it to you straight.
