I took Cornell and SH, even though Xavier is right down the road from me and I hate rooting against them. I think those plays are the way to go and avoid the plays where the thinks a 7 point fav should be favored by 11. I thought maybe we should fade those, but after further review, it’s probably best to avoid.

I took a small hit yesterday going 4-5 on the day. I'm starting a new project at my job this week and won't have time to continue my long posts. 

That said, I think the experiment turned out well. I'll keep posting but with not so much detail. To this point, over 31 days, here is where i sit after an initial investment of $200. My overall profit off of that was $1,618.69 through 31 days of betting on select entries from Greg Peterson's card.

So $200 returned me $1818.69 overall. I'll take it. 

I'll try to post my bets prior to games otherwise I won't post them at all since it doesn't help after the fact but I will still only bet off of Peterson's lines for basketball.

It's been fun and I'll try to keep up with you guys.

Again today, I hit Illinois and still have Tulane going but I could have also added Fairfield and Sienna, bath falling in that small dog category and both won. Need to start playing more of them.

As a background for me jumping in on this...

Over the past month I've been charging in bench time to my company (not being chargeable on a project). which is like a paid vacation to an extent in my world. Although, I was having to be responsible to find another role/project to get on, which to me has meant to wait until possible roles are offered. I turned down a few roles since I didn't think I was a good fit. But alas, on Friday I accepted a role that my leadership was "very interested" in me taking. (I guess my company is about 5 months away form this client being a "diamond client". Oh boy.).  So I took it and start tomorrow.   

So I always knew something was coming soon, either find a project or eventually get the boot from the company.

So given that, I never really wanted to become so invested in this, other than have some fun and hopefully make a few bucks since I had the free time. 

I do see that if from day one I added $200 to every bet thru the month, I would probably be up to like $7000 profit at this point. Maybe now that I'm on a new role at work, and I think the college BB season is coming to an end soon, I'll up a few bets a bit. But never to the point that I could lose it all in a day or two. 

It's tough for me, because I never feel comfortable gambling. Even though I love doing it. I almost think that even if I had $10 million in cash laying around I would still bet the same way if not just a little bit more.  

Maybe when baseball starts and Greg posts his lines, I'll look on for a bit with very small, then start betting bigger if I see how he is doing is positive. And I'll do a month long experiment like this one and amp it up if it is working like this has been up until today.

Yeah, fock, I haven't looked into it too much but being in Maryland may screw me (although I think they may be approving online betting later this year).  Didn't know if I could get around it by funding with Bitcoin or something.

Bitcoin is the only way to go. Most sites give you an extra deposit bonus for it too that they normally wouldn't with credit card.

3/2/22 results

Didn't have time to add any more bets yesterday. Probably for the better.  Only lost my smallest bet being the under 140 Notre Dame game which ended up at 144 total. 

Made up for the juice I lost the last couple days plus about $60. 

Went 4-1 betting $225 to win $362.73 profiting $137.73 on the day.

Through 35 days up $1772.34 of betting off of Greg's card.
