I'm liking this second half betting I've been doing. 4 and 1 in the past 3 days.

I look at the scores and the time left in the second half. Compare what the book's adjusted lines are and compare with what the original lines from Greg's sheet, and judge if I want to bet on where that all sits at that point in the game. 

Pretty cool.

Meh. He hit a cold spot.  I'm up I think 10 units units from 30 days ago. I was up about 40 the first 10 days. Last week's UFC was like minus 8 or 9 units. I'm gonna give it another month and see if he can get out the funk.

I love the optics of this matchup.  Duke is coming off a cover against Michigan State while Texas Tech barely survived a real scare from Notre Dame.  On the surface, the Blue Devil's have it all going for them, including more talented players and the Coach K narrative.  But when I dive deeper I think Texas Tech is the real contender in this spot.  The Red Raiders have the best adjusted defense in the country and paly a style that Duke hasn't seen for much of this season.  In fact, the Blue Devil's haven't faced a top 10 defense since beating Gonzaga in November.

On the other side of the floor, Duke's defense has struggled mightily of late, allowing 78 points per game over their last 6.  Tech's offense was dynamite against Montana State (12-20 on 3-pointers), then regressed against Notre Dame (4-15) and a healthy middle ground should be enough to get the job done.  The line movement also favors Texas Tech despite Duke being a public darling.  At BetMGM, the Blue Devil's have the second-highest ticket count so far this week, just behind fellow ACC rival UNC.  Duke is also getting 78% of the overall tickets and nearly 80% of the early handle.

My Pick, Gonzaga -8.5.  Everyone knows what happened against Memphis early before Drew Timme put the team on his back and won the game for the Bulldogs.  Similar to the Texas Tech line of reasoning above, the betting public likely drives the Gonzaga number down a bit while the Bulldogs rebound with their players rallying around Timme to cover big time.

I tried it on some NBA and NHL at end of 2021 and it was meh.  But, I only used their picks for 3-4 days then moved on.

So this guy is now posting what he calls "bankroll builder" parlays.  They're not near as risky as his "lotto" parlays.  He does a few per night.  He's hit quite a few over the last week.

I’m not sure I want to dare predict that team. They make absolutely no sense to be in the Sweet 16.

gun to my head I would probably take Miami just because nobody expected us to get to the tournament so LSU there was no pressure. Nobody expected us to beat Wisconsin so there was no pressure. Miami everyone feels like we should either beat or stay with. Typically in those games we don’t do that well.

Yes.  2nd day came back strong.  First round came in at 59%. I haven't done round of 32 or 16.
