The chiefs had hfa for the last 3 years and currently are the #1 seed again.  Mahomes has never played a road playoff game.

They wouldn’t be if your wonder boy HC had a clue. Looks like he’s another one that’s the smartest guy around.

I bristle at taking points off the board in general.  They took a zillion points off the board last week.  Then they scored a td late and SHOULD have gone for two there and didnt.  A successful try makes in a 9 point lead and they win.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that playing in Tampa AGAINST Tampa is a road game... whether it's considered "neutral" site or not.

One thing The Cowboys and maybe a few others had home field and didn't need to win a away game after their last road playoff win.

The Cowboys have 3 playoff wins total in the last 25 years.

All were at home.

Updated for 49ers win.  The last 49ers road playoff win was at the Cowboys.  The Cowboys last road playoff win was at the 49ers.

Bengals attempting to get the FIRST EVER road playoff win right now at the Titans.

The Steelers have 9 road playoff wins.  The Cowboys also have 9.

The answer has an asterisk.

The Packers have the most road playoff wins at 12 BUT the Ravens have 11 road playoff wins ALL in the 21st century.  If you consider them the old Browns, then you add three Browns road playoff wins that came before they moved to Baltimore, which would give that franchise 14 and that places the Ravens at #1 overall.

The Rams are currently at 9 trying for 10 this weekend BTW, so they would actually pass both the Steelers and Cowboys.  That would place the Rams 3rd overall in NFL history in terms of road playoff wins.

The Rams is really surprising. They did bust up a really good Giants team in 1989 at the meadowlands, the infamous Flipper game in OT.

Bengals finally get a road playoff win today.

The only club left without a road playoff victory is the Texans.

The AFC North is the division with the most recent full set of road playoff wins for its 4 clubs.  Steelers in 2017 and rest of the division in the 2020s.

The Lions had a good run in the 90s with Barry including a week one bye and a second round home win in 1991early in his career. Then the Packers landed Favre (and in turn, without missing a beat, Rodgers) and Idon't know that they've won the division since.

The Lions never had a QB worth a darn until Stafford came along. The best was Kramer IMO, maybe Danielson.

The 1991 Lions playoff win was against the Aikman-Emmitt-Irvin Cowboys of all things.  Although Steve Beuerlein had taken Aikman's job in the second half of the season.  Aikman entered the second half of the playoff game as Beuerlein struggled.  Aikman took his job back in 1992 and they went on to win those super bowls.

It wasn't a big deal, the Lions regularly beat the Cowboys during those years, maybe always, we had their number.

Also of note, Beuerlein did develop into a true NFL starter, maybe a franchise guy.  The Raiders had struck gold with him, but lost patience.  Imagine Beuerlein starting for the Raiders from 1989-2004.  Without Beuerlein, they made 3 AFC title game appearance and won 1, losing 1 super bowl.  Who knows what happens if the Raiders stuck with him.  I mean he almost beat out Troy Aikman in Dallas. Instead the Raiders trade him to Dallas.

My first undefeated fantasy football team was QBed by Beuerlein in1999

Fantasy Football: Mike Utley Fantasy Football Dynasty League (myfantasyleague.com)

This similar league format was what I used when I founded the Interboard Challenge a year or two later.

The one and only playoff win for the lions is a "good run". And the lions have 3 division championship since the merger.

That says it all.
