I don’t defend the old twitter at every turn, I just like to call out Musk because he’s claiming to be so much better than the old twitter when he’s similar in a lot of ways.

Also, he has now “changed his mind” several times, and I have not seen him “admit” that’s what he did or address his prior statements.

I don’t really have many “positions.”  Here are a few I can think of off the top of my head, feel free to list some that prove my hypocrisy or that make me a lib:

1.  Covid was bad

2.  The Covid vaccines are effective

3.  Biden wasn’t laundering money from Ukraine through FTX

4.  Twitter didn’t conspire with the government to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story

5.  Paul Pelosi wasn’t attacked by his gay lover

One of them says they tweeted a link to the elonjet Facebook page, so I’m sure that will be the claim.  I’d be surprised if all 8 of them did though but I guess it’s possible.
 

Also noted in the article, Sweeney confirms the elonjet account had not tweeted anything since Dec 12, so a day before the attack and two days before the policy change

Link?  I’m sure some did, but from what I can tell O’Sullivan for example just linked to an article about the situation, but not to the actual page.

What Sweeney was doing is not a crime and is protected by the first amendment.

Not OK with his family being threatened, but again, he specifically tweeted that he knew his flight being tracked was a safety risk, but that he wouldn’t ban the account.

It is also confirmed that the elonjet account is not how the crazy person found his family, as it had not tweeted since the day prior to the incident.

Honestly I’m fine with the journalists being “suspended” (not sure if that means permanently) for linking to it after the policy was announced.  But it’s not clear they all did that.  I’m also not fine with the actual account being banned despite not tweeting anything since the policy was changed.

And if the threat was that serious, you’d think he would have filed a police report.
