Question for Commish. Since no one has picked since I did can I change last pick to different song same album ?

No complaints here

I also have no problem with a waiver round once we are done. Everyone gets to drop a player/song and pick up another if all agree.

If the draft moves overnight to me, just take for me whoever got the most votes in that thread I started when Herbie picks. If it’s a tie leave it for me to figure.

I was going to suggest a Tie Breaker where at the end of the draft everyone picks (in 1-7) one (1) song from artist that meets criteria but is NOT on either list.

I was thinking about the voting too and came up with 2 options.

1. A poll with all 7 of us and winner takes all. We may have to figure out a tiebreaker.

2. A poll with all 7 of us and the top 3 vote getters make it to the finals. Top 3 get a new separate poll to crown the champion.

@SUXBNME is on the clock. I’m at the bar  and not trying to mess with fonts and colors while on my phone. I will update the list when I get back to my computer.

I like the public poll idea.

Either way, we are going public with a rule that you can’t vote for yourself

This could be fun. It could also correct a rules oversight: we could open up the bonus spot to bands not on the lists too if everyone agrees they qualify.

I kinda hate to see this come to the end. I have to do our EdEx golf draft next week, but after that im down for another draft. I had a couple ideas.

1. 80s movies draft.

2. baseball card draft.

I take that back. PGA championship isn’t for a coupe more weeks. I’m good to start up again immediately

They both sound cool but curious how a BB card draft would go ?

We would have to set some parameters like we did here but we draft cards. Any draft should start with the 1952 Mickey Mantle, but none of us will ever own that. We could go 1963 (Pete Rose rookie) to 1993ish (Jeter/A-Rod rookies) as the cutoff. After the early 90s it got out of hand with all the brands and likely none of us outside of Vudu still collected.

1.1 could be 1973 Topps - Mike Schmidt

If we do baseball cards I’m thinking minimum of 50 rounds

I get the hesitation we had with this draft, but if we had to redo it, 30 rounds would have been better

I had the 1973 Schmidt card and got to see one of the Honus Wagner cards. Vudu would school us in the draft though.

Yea lots of good songs will be left out and maybe we can do another 10 rds draft later for them that are left.

I’m sure he would, but it would be fun. I will take pictures of mine that I draft. I still have the 73 Mike Schmidt and every rookie card of importance in the 80s outside of 3-4 gems that are outrageously priced on eBay

Lot of mine burnt in a Christmas Eve fire back in 91. I still collected till 2000 though and sold a lot at flea markets.

I don't know if it was deliberate or accidental, but Bunny is the only one of us who completed this draft with 16 different bands.

True. More true than you realize!

Fock, even when I'm in bed having given my picks to somebody else, I'll have my phone there and if I wake up in the middle of the night, 2 AM, 4 AM, I'll check in.
