Late/early tee time for him. Not sure if a quick turnaround for him on Friday is the best thing for his broken-down body. If he makes the cut it'll be extra rest going into the weekend though.

i mean, he's slated to play the next LIV event and said he was going to try to play the Open. I expect he tees it up. I couldn't have told you he hasnt played since March without looking it up, I just know he hasn't been paying

Willett's current form is awful but i figure he has a great track record at St Andrews. Won the Dunhill last year which plays 2 rounds on the old course, played well in the same event in 2019, played well in the 2015 Open Championship and is an Open Championship cut maker with a top 10 as recent as 2019 

I had this feeling he was a prime Dain pick that would not get to me in round 6.  Probably wrong and he will probably now miss the cut

Very shocked they did not give him an early/late... maximize his rest and give him a chance to make the cut. I guess he wanted that draw and the rest going into the weekend if he makes it at all... i'm sure they asked him what draw he wanted.

Not really on my radar. His Open record has been pretty meh but can't fault you for his history at the OC. I do have a nice little (I hope) sleeper for my last pick as long as KSB doesn't snipe me.

All my guys tee off late then early.  I pray it is the right side of the draw.

You just never can tell. Weather is so damn unpredictable over there. Right now it's supposed to be pretty benign for both of the days.

I figured I was wrong but thought if he was on anyone's radar it might be you.  I believe he has made every cut since 2015 with a pair of t6's.   Then again he just shot +10 MC at the Scottish. It's a low floor,  course horse pick I guess.
