wiffleball 4,749 Posted August 4, 2022 Greg Giraldo ladies and gentlemen. Never saw him do anything other than Roasts. But damn, when you're good at it just do one thing. Dude has more great lines than maybe any comedian that I've ever seen. Just perfect for roasts. Note, He was actually a lawyer for reals. posty 2,446 Posted August 5, 2022 I like pot roast, but prime rib roast is really good...
wiffleball 4,749 Posted August 5, 2022 Well, I hope some of you guys enjoy this. He really was brilliant. Again, not the best stand-up. But the best roast comedian that I can think of perhaps other than Don rickles. You guys know I've been crushing on Norm Macdonald and others lately. I guess what I love most about them? Is the deep abiding and sincere respect they had for each other. It wasn't a competition. It was like a mutual admiration society. Small society. Small crew. A few jackasses. But most of them? Love each other like family. And respected each other.
5-Points 3,151 Posted August 5, 2022 Giraldo was one of the best. First name I thought of when I read the title.

Masshole 642 Posted August 5, 2022 I love Giraldo but you can't call him "the King of the Roasts". That's Jeff Ross's title and he earned it

Mike Honcho 4,599 Posted August 5, 2022 He definitely wasn't the king, but I loved when Patrice O'Neal was still around and did those.
