We understand Yahoo Fantasy Football managers are awaiting news regarding the postponed Week 17 matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills. Our main concern is Damar’s health at this time. Our thoughts are with Damar, his family and the Buffalo Bills. Considering these are unprecedented circumstances, we wanted to provide as much clarity as we can while awaiting the NFL’s final decision on the game.

Here’s what you need to know if you are competing in a season-long fantasy league with active playoffs:
 

1. Week 17 standings will update for now, but scoring updates will be applied once a decision regarding the Bills-Bengals game status is made by the NFL. Waivers will be processed as normal for leagues playing in week 18.
2. Yahoo will be honoring the official NFL Gamebook for Week 17 by updating the stats and fantasy scores in our game to match the official record.
3. If official NFL scoring changes impact the result of your Week 17 matchup, we will retroactively adjust Week 18 matchups to reflect the change.
4. Payouts for Private and Public Prize Leagues will not be processed until a final decision is made by the NFL on the Bills-Bengals game status.
5. League commissioners have the choice to make manual changes through their commissioner tools but we encourage commissioners to wait until the NFL makes a final decision on the game’s status.
6. If your league has any active Week 18 playoff matchups, you should set your lineup as usual.

Wow, this is a FF mess.  I'm reading some of the national leagues are considering week 17 complete and the Bills/Bengals players getting zero points.  Same on MFL with the caveat that if the game is ever played they will adjust scoring.

FFPC says week 17 is complete.  Prizes to be awarded on Friday.  Current stats from the game are included (like Yahoo), if NFL removes those points from the official stats before Friday so will FFPC.

I don't understand why the game would not ultimately be played, after week 18 games, considering the playoff implications for both teams involved. Potential #1, #2 seeds on the line... and more. Seems like the NFL could logistically find a way to get it completed.  Yes, there could be an injury to a fantasy relevant player in week 17, but I don't see there being any issue (as some people have raised) with key players sitting, as regardless of the week 18 outcomes there should still be seeding and home games on the line. 

 

I have a dynasty league where the owners in the final and consolation game already agreed to chop the pot and be declared co-champions on Tuesday and one of those same owners who was playing in the title game of my main league proposing the same to his opponent and waiting on commish response (me and another guy)... idk what the rush was/is to declare winners and payouts. 

I mean I suspect the owner who proposed it in my main league did so because he was projected to lose by about 20 but had the lead over Josh Allen and Ja'Marr Chase.

I love how in my big league that the two finalists said fock it and worked it out, with one guy just conceding even though he still had a chance to win the last game.

League-camaraderie preservation triumphed over all.

I think it's safe to declare Ed the winner, I mean there is a 1% chance Allen gets hurt or sits if they play the game and Burrows scores 40. You and I can wait, let Ed hold the money for EdEx anyway.

I am okay with Yahoo minus the fact they don’t let you dictate what a tie breaker should be (I think that was an issue)

 

I think the biggest issue was that a lot of you girls wanted 1 league 1-12 rather than the 3 divisions. Which is perfectly fine with me

I specifically joined to keep things light. I am in 6 leagues (2 are FFPC) 

I would be in favor of a slight bump to cover any league management site fees and payout for weekly high score and overall high score total.

Moving to espn won’t cost anything 

I’m not a fan of paying weekly high score or overall high score. Who cares, imho. This is traditional FF, not give everyone a prize in case they have a bad playoff week and get eliminated. 
 

id be in favor of increasing the entry fee a bit and thus increasing payouts for 1st, 2nd, 3rd. 
 

if I remember @OldMaid is currently first alternate if we have to replace anyone
