Of course a few of them have. I remember that dude from Louisiana, a Democrat I believe, with cash found in his freezer. I don’t think most do however. 

How then do they become wealthy? Many of them go to work for big corporations. The Republican politicians join the oil companies, defense contractors. The Democratic politicians join the big labor unions. And of course both Republicans and Democrats go to work for the insurance companies and BIg Pharma. Or else, since most of them are attorneys, they go to work for big time law firms….who serve insurance companies and big Pharma.

The way it works dgby is said congressman approves 400 million for a guys company to make something like solar panels....so buddy takes the money at spends a few million to get a factory...hire a few guys and go thru the motions.  After a year or so...they say the spent all the money but it was too difficult to produce them to specs so they food and split the remaining cash with said congressman.
