Sonic Stop Showing Your Steak & Bacon Grilled Cheese!

Recommended Posts

Sonic has some decent stuff on the menu, but they are the slowest of fast food joints. Plan on spending 20 minutes in the drive thru.

Those things do look good, and I've got a Sonic nearby.  Too bad I didn't see this thread an hour ago.  :(

They don't have a walk in option. They have parking spots where waitresses come out and take your order. They are slow too

I was going to say I went there once and it was disgusting and I am not a fast food snob. Then I realized it was a Checkers not Sonic. I never ate at a Sonic.

Never been to a Sonic. Worth the trip?

The burgers are better-than-average fast food, and a lot of people like the slushies.

I'd give it a 10-mile drive round-trip just to experience it once.

No, it's terrible.  I've been there a handful of times because of the kids, but I disliked everything I ever ate there.

We pass one on the way to the rents sometimes but my son doesn’t really like fast food. I guess we’re lucky for that.

I hate to report that I've never been to sonic. I mean it looks really good. And they're relatively available. I just never have.

Same thing with in-n-out. Which from what I've been told, kicks the crap out of whataburger.

Is it just me? Or you guys remember the Whataburger as being a much larger Patty? Like frisbee-sized almost.

Sonic locations aside, we are due for another draft. What do yo say to a country and western song draft?

That's not bad and 1 or 2 more would be great. I'd still be okay with that is all we can get.

Yea 90's had lots of good new artist like Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Garth and etc. Also some older artist like the George's putting out quality stuff.

I have to fock around with a golf draft this early this week, but we could get this thing kicked off next weekend out so. I will start a thread.

Thanks for doing this!

Would like to draft for Mrs. Pimpadeaux as well, if that's allowed.

I'll throw in three bottles of local barbecue sauce to the winner.

Seems appropriate!

More the merrier if you have another. These are for fun. All that want to participate in the beginning stage too so we can set up parameters.

Is is just 20 rounds all country songs?

Do we do it by decade?

Like the 80s hair rock draft, must have 1 song per calendar year?

I am open to all ideas. We can have a good time with this

That's tough. If it were movies, music, TV shows, it is best done in genres.

Drama

Horror

Comedy

Etc.

Maybe by decades, going back to the 1940s, perhaps?

So will you draft Garth Brooks for the 1990s if Patsy Cline for the 1950s is on the board?

Sonic fan for sure...... make solid burgers, one I'd take over In/Out.. Also like the chili cheese dog - and of course the Butterfinger Blast is killer.
