His response isn't going to win him a lot of friends.

Umpire Reggie Drummer regrets 'lapse of judgment' on viral call

Umpire Reggie Drummer, who was suspended after his game-ending call in a college baseball game went viral last month, said he regrets the call but also noted the way he was treated by players and fans caused a "lapse of judgment."

Drummer was behind the plate for a March 10 game between Mississippi Valley State and the University of New Orleans. Drummer already had ejected two players and warned both benches by the time the game got to the ninth inning.

Drummer told "The Plate Meeting" podcast on CloseCallSports.com that fans were verbally abusive and used racial language toward him. He also described several animated discussions with Mississippi Valley State players and coach Milton Barney

"I'm not upset," he said. "I'm more hurt because I'm getting all this from my people when I know I'm calling a good game, I'm calling a fair game."

He learned his oppressed black man creed well.  Always play the race card, even if the racists are also black.  What's pathetic, if true, is his claim that he's reffing again.  He admits to compromised judgment, for whatever reason.  If he acknowledges his inability to stay impartial he should never be allowed to ref again.

What really ticked me off is he admitted that on the last two pitches anything close he was calling a strike, calls strike 2 and when the kid reacted to the bad call, said "I should have ejected him when he pointed," Drummer told the podcast."  What an azz, he's mad cause he didn't eject someone reacting to his BS calls.  You're right, he shouldn't be allowed any where near the field again.

Maybe the writer didn't expect the article to be published for a couple more days.  Is this REALLY your takeaway from that article?

If something this simple isn't accurate, what makes you think the rest of the article is completely accurate?

Jumping around like a monkey who just got a free banana in not "reacting".  It is being an POS little biotch and he should have been ejected.
