For Californians to speak up nationally and complain about prices of things, shows they either don't know what the F they are talking about, or, are lying about the state of the nation on purpose. Newsom is begging Trump for money and the mayor of LA has only approved 4 permits to start rebuilding from the fires she and Newsom helped create.

California's state and local government debt is estimated to be over half a trillion dollars, making it the most indebted state in the nation, with a significant portion attributed to unfunded public employee liabilities. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Unfunded Liabilities: A substantial portion of this debt consists of unfunded public employee liabilities, which have grown significantly in recent years. Debt Per Household: The state's debt burden translates to roughly $125,000 of debt per California household. Budget Deficit: California is facing a significant budget deficit, with the Legislative Analyst's Office estimating a $68 billion deficit for the 2024-25 fiscal year. Debt Issuance: State and local government entities in California have issued more than $2 trillion in debt over the last four decades. Debt by Type: General obligation bonds had the highest volume in the first six months of CY 2024 with $12.0 billion issued, representing 30.6% of total debt by type. Total Debt: California's total long-term debt, including both state and local governments, is estimated to be over half a trillion dollars, or around $510 billion. Gas should be cheaper here than in surrounding states where they have to truck it in. CA gas taxes are the Dem's way of making it painful for CA residents to drive gas powered cars. Who cares that we don't have the infrastructure to support the masses driving EV's? Let's mandate it anyway. It's retarded.

Grace Under Pressure 84 Posted March 31 German inflation falls to 2.3% in March Meanwhile, in the rest of the world, where a dope doesn't "do tariffs": German inflation came in at a lower-than-expected 2.3% in March, preliminary data from the country’s statistics office Destatis showed Monday. It compares to February’s 2.6% print, which was revised lower from a preliminary reading, and a poll of Reuters economists who had been expecting inflation to come in at 2.4% The print is harmonized across the euro area for comparability. There's enough common ground here to agree this is bullcrap on behalf of the EU. The thing is, leverage should be used force the EU to lower their tariff to 2.5%, not raising our tariff. THAT is the tough guy move. Lower tariffs reduce prices. Higher tariffs raise prices. That's a simple supply and demand curve graphing the impact of tariffs on prices. The lower the tariff, the lower the price where supply meets demand on the graph. Macroeconomics 101. If Donald were so intent on MAGA, that's what he would be negotiating. Donny don't care though. A weak man's idea of a strong man. He don't care that prices will go up. He said so himself yesterday: Trump says he 'couldn't care less' if car prices rise due to tariffs He don't care about you, he don't care about me. He cares about Donald Trump. For ten years of this already, wake up. 1
