I believe the Black shooter can get acquitted of all charges with a temporary insanity plea. White people butchering the game of basketball probably drove the poor guy over the edge. They probably didn't make a basket all week. They may also have been wearing street shoes.

Neither of your points apply to this situation. This was not a stand your ground situation & the shooter wasn't scared of the situation. I'm definitely a proponent of SYG....but as you stated the law has to be as concise as possible. Reading the legal history of the shooter, it seems he would have been prohibited to have or own a firearm....but as we all know, lawbreakers don't follow the law.

This isn’t the only shooting though they happen all the time. More dopes walking around with guns, laws making it easier to get them is a bad combo in my view.

We are going the wrong direction is my point. I get it sucks for the majority of lawful gun people who enjoy them but it’s just one of those things you have to deal with living in a society.
