It was a beautiful spring day in Kansas City today, and if I were a younger man, I would have been downtown tonight.  I can only imagine what the atmosphere must have been like--both literally and figuratively, now that we're about 3 months into legalized recreational marijuana sales in Missouri.

But it was spectacular enough even on TV.  For the first time since the NFL Draft has been on the road, the defending NFL Champions hosted the draft--and on the very grounds where their Championship Parade had reached its climax just a couple of months ago.  Chiefs fans numbering almost half the population of the city itself sat back and watched as every other team in the NFL did what it could to make themselves competitive with the Chiefs--and then, awash in a sea of red lighting and war chants, the Chiefs drafted a fearsome pass rusher who grew up in Kansas City and starred with the Big-12 Champion Kansas State Wildcats to top off the first round and close the festivities!

I mean that was worth the 60 year wait.

I will seriously cry if the Chiefs don't get Deuce Vaughn in the 4th or the 5th now--let's make EMAW into EMAC!!!

I agree.  there is never anything wrong with taking a good OT.

Bears have a young QB.    protection is one way you can support his development.  if hes running for his life he will never develop to be more than just a running QB.

to that end, I like the pick...... even if I dont like the team

Yes, I started him at flex at the end of the season.  He was startable.  I won the championship and he was there helping.
