But let’s be clear: the mass immigration we had in the early 20th century which produced my forefathers (and perhaps yours as well) resulted in intense poverty and crime in the large cities of this country. But the overall result was positive; it always is. So even if new immigration, legal or otherwise, resulted in greater crime, I would still be for it.
