I thought he had been indicted three times with a current total of 78 counts, with one indictment being in state court, not federal court.  I guess I have not followed this as closely as have you.

The argument made by Trump and his lawyers over the weekend that he cannot get a fair trial in Washington DC is basically a racist argument. It’s quite similar to Trump’s earlier arguments that he was cheated out of an election victory due to fake results from the big cities: Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, etc. The underlying message is always the same with this guy: black people are illegitimate; they can’t be trusted to behave objectively, intelligently, or honestly. Sadly, millions of Republicans seem to have bought into this.

You may not see it as a political hunt, and I wont bother to debate it with you....but it is.....

I objected when this similar thing was done to Clinton, when they tried it with the Obama birth certificate, and I object to it being done to Trump....not because I give a rats assss about Trump but I care about the system. I care about the precedent being set, the misuse of the DOJ and the overall justice system as a political lever.

Right now you might not care, but what happens if the DOJ and courts somehow evolve to become more conservative, and they do this to people YOU support.   It would STILL be a problem, I would STILL object to it....because it was STILL be wrong.....
