Commitment Seeking Liberal: No Masculine Men In Dating Pool Who Aren’t Conservative

I would introduce both a lawyer or a plumber to my mom, IDGAF.

Well of course you would.  But if you'd be equally pleased dating the same dude whether plumber or lawyer, well I'd suggest you're an aberration.

Typically women prefer dudes with status and tradies have zero status.

But you do you.

Haha that's quite the bio you've built for me boyo.

I'll say you're about 1/3 right.

Obviously I'm in the educated, rich Northeast.  Your age range is spot on.

Surrounded by the uneducated?  Puhlease boyo, the exact opposite.  My dad and mom had regular jobs, no business owners.  Not even a frat guy, I hate frat guys.  Wrong on the big city part too.

I'll give you a C boyo.

I should've known lawyer.  That fits so perfectly.  I'm pretty disappointed in myself.

Female team leader at factory was sacked after telling younger male colleague 'I want to squeeze those buns so bad', tribunal hears

.....She tried to sue the manufacturing company for unfair dismissal and wrongful dismissal, but the tribunal in Cambridge has thrown out her case. The hearing was told colleagues were left 'uncomfortable' by Taylor but didn't want to speak out because she was older and 'sometimes older people thought they could get away with things'..... November 3, 2021, Daniel Gardos told a colleague, Daniel Lindley, that Taylor had approached him while he was sitting in a warehouse truck talking to another colleague and had 'grabbed him in a private area'.....'She approached me and made a joke, in the middle of doing it she reached into my truck area and grabbed me inappropriately on my private area, without permission...

....After the complaint, Taylor was suspended and an internal investigation was launched. Mr Lindley told the investigator that Ms Taylor made 'dirty rude comments' and 'made comments and touched him' too when he first started but because he was new, he didn't feel he could speak out....Another worker, Victor Purtulis, also said Ms Taylor inappropriately touched him.....Taylor tried to sue the manufacturing company for unfair dismissal and wrongful dismissal, but the tribunal in Cambridge has thrown out her case.....

.....Another male colleague said Ms Taylor made comments in front of his wife such as 'why are you [married], such a pity, shame you are not single' which had upset his wife. Two others were interviewed and claimed similar incidents had happened to them. In a disciplinary hearing in December, Taylor denied all the allegations but even after an appeal, she was fired for gross misconduct....

Next you'll aware us that hot, skinny gals with big racks are attractive to dudes.

Of course women want manly men.  But I assume you don't want some idiot caveman who idea of fine dining is a big bite from 7-11.

And which would you rather introduce to your moms, your boyfriend/husband the lawyer or your boyfriend/husband the plumber?

Some of us are both, lawyer during the week and lumberjack/plumber/housepainter/hunter on the weekends who will dress up and take their wife to the ballet on Saturday and will give her a savage boning on Sunday after watching a game and eating something we killed and then smoked low and slow.

Cow elk once.  Wild boar only once.  Most commonly White Tail, Turkey, Geese, Antelope, Duck.  Sometimes Elk and Mule Deer.  I also fish, fresh water, generally trout now given my location but it use to be bass and walleye primarily.

Mostly, of course, i was having a bit of fun in my post.  Can't be an alpha male when you are whipped, and I have the scars to show how whipped I have been.

So then going back to the OP...women are complaining that there aren't enough manly men in the liberal party for them to date. Manly men do (probably) tend to get more action.

Why are women complaining then...if they WANT more manly men, but they don't meet their political party requirements...this just doesn't make sense to me I guess.

As for me "wanting someone with status" vs a tradesman, meh. I have been married for 22 years and I am 46. If I were to start dating again my "requirements" would be VASTLY different than what they were at 21. However, that said my boyfriend from HS (that I'd planned to marry) had a shiiite job at a convenience store, no college, etc. I planned to marry him at the time...so even back then my husband requirements didn't include having "status." And the man I did eventually marry didn't either.

Maybe these women who are complaining are looking for the wrong thing in a mate.

"women" aren't complaining.  ONE WOMAN said that in her experience a few liberal men don't want to pay for dinner or hold doors open.

Well, then she needs to pay for her portion and open her own doors. Isn't that what we've been asking for? The whole equality thing?

Women (or this one) can be dumb.

Women don't care about status?  Weird how every sports guys has some hot young chick.  Many old, rich dudes, hot young chicks.  Leo has a new gal under 25 every 6 months.

I guess all of these guys have just awesome personalities and are crazy attractive?

LOL at women not caring about status.

And if you married some dude who worked in a convenience store or some other crap job it's likely because you didn't have any other options.

This popped into my head while reading this thread.

A few years ago I went kayaking with a couple buddies, my gf, their gfs, and a single friend of theirs (liberal woman)

Well we go to pull over for a pee and stretch.  Most everyone gets to the spot before the single girl.  So we get out and I pull in her boat up onto the rocks so she didnt need to wade through the water.  Just a nice gesture, being friendly you know.  And once she gets out she starts talking about "thanks for the help, im a girl of course I couldn't do it by myself.  Good thing we have a couple a big strong men for that".

My gf and her other friend sort of just look at me and roll their eyes.  God forbid being nice, can't do that in todays world.  Such a pig I am.

Was I displaying toxic masculinity?

Status or money?

I'm not sure why someone would want to be involved with someone who's main goal is to get money or status out of the relationship.

I was being a bit goofy.  But at the same time I still don't know how your idea of toxic masculinity differs from just being a d bag? With this scenario I was lookin at more of a "mansplaining" another catchy phrase popular just in last handful of years.  Like me getting out and helping her out and pulling  up her boat was a bit of "mandoing". Like here you weak woman watch superman help you!  Because thats what a lot of these liberal women think.  The ones who complain about womens vs mens sports.

It's not just being a douche.  Toxic Masculinity refers to a set of a behaviors that boys and men engage in that result in destructive outcomes for them and others.  Let me offer some examples

Boys are taught to not show emotion, not to cry, don't be a sissy, punish any boy that is being a sissy.  That's not good.  Boys, and men, should be able to express their emotions.  Avoiding this often results in violence/bullying against others and/or self destructive behavior like drinking/drugs and lack of developing meaningful relationships.  Boys are taught that their self worth is in how many chicks they can bang, and that they are the superior gender.  Of course this results in destructive behavior towards women.

So the commercial was about men should cry? Lol

Maybe the traditional role of that comes from being strong for your family.   When the family pet dies and the kids are losing their shlt and mom is crying, it sort of slides into someone anyone of the parents showing strength that this won't be the end of the world.  Sometimes the man is the last line and he chooses to show strength in a tough time rather than letting his kids see him spiral out of control hysterically.

Guys cry all the time these days anyway.  UFC fighters filled with testosterone cry all the time after tough losses, big wins, dedicating the fight to someone who passed, retiring.  NFL players cry all the time.   NBA players cry all the time.

The crying one is so overblown.

So you don't have a problem with a father yelling at his son to stop crying, stop being a baby, stop being a sissy.  You don't see anything negative about this?  You're OK with this behavior because some UFC fighters cry?

Tons of scenarios.   Im fine with a father saying toughen up quit crying when the boys semi hurts himself.  (Age and injury depending) An injury that doesn't need the balling.  Or if hes being dramatic about something stupid.  Yes toughen up.

If a 17 year old lost his GF of 2 years and was sad yea man take some time.  Go cry in your room.  Get over it in a couple days.

Family dog dies that your now 13 yeat old son spent his entire life with.  Yea man have a cry if you want.

This one kid on my 7th grade basketball team started tearing up when he got taken out after a bad play.  Yea he is what 12 or something.   That is when you teach them to quit being emotional and focus and do better.  That is absolutely nothing to cry about at that age.

There is crying when you are very young.  There is crying when something significant happened.

Then there is whining tears.  And there is coddled tears.  The ones that wouldn't flow but they know they will get a reaction/sympathy.
