I don't think anyone in this league does anything on the mange board, although with all the aliases some people have... who knows. I rarely post there, I just do the annual June and July mocks for the website.

Looks like the site says it just assumes your starting lineup based on their highest projections not factoring in injuries or anything.

I went against Maholmies and started no one and am down only 20

I should have looked more closely at what lager put in for QB scoring.  .04 per yard       Should have been .5 for every 10 yards or if we really wanted .XX decimal scoring, at least .05 per yard so every 10 yards is a clean half point. 

 

Would there be any opposition to cleaning this up slightly since only Mahomes has played?

either way is fine with me.  as is, a 300 yard games gets us 12 pts for yds.

 

edit: actually .. prefer scoring for every yard.  ok with a change to .05

I understand some people preferring to score for every yard passing. 

the issue is, the scoring last year was 10 yards = .5     So as happened with a lot of the settings, creating a new league on ESPN did not carry over our 2021 settings and allow changes to be made/voted on based off that starting point.  We never voted to change it, so technically the right thing to do is adjust it to match 2021 settings but I am going to leave the .XX decimal scoring and adjust it to .05 so at least its a little more neat and clean.

You cannot change the scoring after the draft. Let alone in all my time of playing FF, QB yds have been 25 yds = 1pt., and then 1yd = .04(ie 25yds = 1pt).

i have been playing since 91 and have seen different scoring values for qbs.

It’s more common that 20 yards is 1 point but yes some leagues still use 25 yards as a point. 
 

the major issue here is that the scoring should have been the same as 2021. Why it was changed without any discussion or vote is beyond me. Too many cooks in the kitchen = a mess

ill change it back so as to not ruffle any feathers

I would be on board with that and think it makes sense

...but logically, the ESPN league should have been set up with the exact same scoring as we had on Yahoo in 2021 with any proposed changes being voted on and adjusted from there.  I don't think anyone could argue otherwise.
