Knowing your league rules means you knew it was different than 2021. Why would that be the case? 

 

I would bet no one drafted with that scoring in mind, and hell... doesn't impact me. It hurts high volume passing QBs more than anyone else. 300 yard games are now 12 instead of 15

Because we changed platforms and changed a half a dozen other things just because.  That's no riddle.  You were even given commissioner powers to review and change if you saw something off before the draft. 

Whatever you were willing to bet send it to Ed right now because you owe me.  My draft rankings are generated based on the league's scoring, so they are "in mind".

1. I didn't change the platform and create the league. If I had, it would have been set up with the same exact scoring as 2021 to use as a starting point because that is the sensible thing to do. Changing a bunch of things "just because" doesn't make it correct 

2. I was given commissioner power much later on. Clearly I am not going to catch every inconsistency at the last minute. 

3. Anyone who chirps about "knowing your league rules" and generates their rankings based on the scoring is someone I would expect to be keenly aware that those settings didn't match last season

I know you're not that obtuse. Rule changes right before the draft were, once again, fixes of incorrect settings and done by myself and Bier.  Like this incorrect setting, that I did not notice. 

I didn't enter it incorrectly but I take the blame for failing to find it. No high horse for me to jump down from but perhaps you could be less of a douche (I know it's not your style) about the suggestion it be fixed.

 - Hey I didn't mean to draft DeAngelo Williams in the 7th round can I change that? 2 rounds later.

 - What the draft is over, there are only 15 roster spots?  I want to add more.

Since multiple people objected, didn't I already say that it would NOT be changed?

Okay, I take it back. Clearly, you are that obtuse. 

It's not at all about having one's shit together.  Your scenario with FBG is funny, laughable and I completely agree. If I was saying "Hey I drafted Patrick Mahomes thinking passing yards were worth more! Can we change the scoring?"  Then you might have a leg to stand on. 

All I did was point out a mistake in the scoring settings from 2022 to 2023 that was not a voted on or even suggested change. A mistake you claim to have noticed, but said nothing about. I'm not sure why you feel the need to act like its crazy to even suggest fixing that and then tell someone that they are the ones on a high horse

...but logically, the ESPN league should have been set up with the exact same scoring as we had on Yahoo in 2021 with any proposed changes being voted on and adjusted from there.  I don't think anyone could argue otherwise.

simple stuff. passing yards scoring was 1pt per 20 yards last year. When BLM made the ESPN league he put it in as 1pt per 25 yards. No one caught it (or at least said anything). I suggested we fix it to what it was last season and there were several people against that so it stays as is.

It's probably best just to leave it as it was entered. I think fixing it now would cause more complaints down the road. I only brought it up because my hope was to keep the league consistent from year to year (aside from proposed and voted changes), so it can remain this way moving forward.... Unfortunately I missed the way lager entered this one and didn't notice until I saw the goofy .54 score next to Herbivore's name. I don't need to be accused of crying or of possibly trying to change a rule to benefit my team in some way
