They should start whoever gives them the best chance to win this week. If whoever they start falters, they should bench him and bring the other guy in. I don't know which QB should or will start.

McDaniel Brought in Hoyer because he knows his system.  I think there is a fair chance they start him.

when he turfed Carr he brought in 2 players at QB who know his system.  That wasnt by accident.  

only reason they start the kid is if they think the season is a writeoff already.

ok apparently coach said in the offseason publicly that hoyer will play if Jimmy G gets hurt (sorry i have no link) and apparently Hoyer was playing with the first team in the most recent practice.

while that is not a guarantee, I'd bet on Hoyer getting the start.

holy crap, I took a look at his scouting report and its pretty good.  I'm surprised he didnt go sooner in the draft.

everything looked good but hes not mobile or super athletic.

but he has a rocket of an arm, pinpoint accuracy and good anticipation as well as a lightning quick release.

this might legitimately be a player to watch here.

Wonder how the rookie would have fared had he had Davante to throw to the whole game. Saw a couple of drops. He didn’t help himself with two fumbles, but I’m interested to see him again. Any chance Jimmy G can date Britney’s sister and be a no show next week?
