5-Points 3,529 Posted December 1, 2023 Bland didn't have any help up top. He needed to play the man, not the ball.
Voltaire 5,316 Posted December 1, 2023 Forgot there was a game on, tuning in at 6:02 in the 4th Seattle up 35-30. Dallas ball.
5-Points 3,529 Posted December 1, 2023 It was ugly but it counts. This was a game prior Cowboys teams would've lost. This team is different.
cmh6476 1,025 Posted December 3, 2023 This is cool, I know everyone mentioned in this article. https://www.panthers.com/news/like-parents-like-son-chris-tabor-s-gift-for-coaching-is-making-it-like-family?fbclid=IwAR0un9V4E1XsVZ1aCKyxd3EVnqYPFnAjZExAJW-_J_YU1GJZR6cnwMLwwIU His dad Don who was mentioned a lot was my freshman baseball coach. After I got tossed trying to steal he looked at the others on the bench and said "remind me not to steal him again".
Voltaire 5,316 Posted December 3, 2023 You're the same age as the guys mentioned in the column (or at least I am and I know you're in the vicinity) do you have any stories of them. I hope your own best story is better than being a lousy base-stealer.

I hope your own best story is better than being a lousy base-stealer. I'm a bit younger. I worked at a local restaurant with and got to know the twins and Liz extremely well. Chris had already graduated by the time I got to high school. Mike Rucker was a senior when I was a freshman, but I've really gotten to know his mom and dad a lot better through the community as his dad was a state rep when I worked in politics, and his mom is a counselor at the school my kids go to. That article is spot on though, both are wonderful families and all are really great people.

Voltaire 5,316 Posted December 3, 2023 Back home. Stick a fork in New Orleans, now the Lions own the tiebreaker vs the entire NFC South, pretty much ensuring they don't face the Cowboys in the NFC playoffs. WTF does "delayed" mean? Football games almost never get delayed.

One of the most memorable games I remember (granted. from the comfort of my living room) was a nasty rainstorm in KC in the late 90s. The stadium was a flood and the field a total mess. I enjoyed it greatly as something totally different. Fcoking play, cupcakes.

Voltaire 5,316 Posted December 3, 2023 I don't know why every team doesn't copycat the Tush Push. You don't need a QB like Hurts to run it. Every team has Defensive Tackles capable of leg pressing a ton. Have one set aside a half hour learning to take snaps under center = problem solved.

MDC 7,425 Posted December 3, 2023 Frustrating game. Eagles really needed to score on one of the first 2 drives to change the complexion of the game. These 2 teams are closer than the score would indicate. I am hoping for a rematch in January.
