Houston sends their rookie WR on a suicide mission to block at the goal line. Done for season with a broken leg. Who would've thought? IDIOTS!

What did we learn here? Don't draft a miniature WR?

Fire up those Nico Collins shares!

I traded a 2nd round Rookie dynasty pick for Nico before the season. At the time it felt like I gave up too much. He's been a pleasant surprise to say the least.

One can only hope this tush push bullshitt starts resulting in some injuries to key players. It’s an abomination.

I hope teams start bull rushing prior to the count. 5 yard penalty and 1st down, but Kelce and crew will pay the price.

It hopefully changes in the offseason but until then, I think everyone should do it. "Our quarterback is to small." Fock your quarterback; teach a defensive tackle to take snaps under center.

It's porcupine and fox out there. The fox has 100 ways to escape a predator. The porcupine only one ... but it a really, really good way.

Sucks for Tank. Didn’t realize he was so tiny. Noah Brown back to relevance!

For the Tush Push play. Most teams can’t do it like Philly (which is weird since it is very valuable and virtually unstoppable) so is kind of weird to punish them because other teams can’t stop it. If I were a big Philly guy I’d tell everyone else to stop being such betches.

Is also pretty lame to watch so I get taking it out.

That's what all the Philly dorks are saying. And the fans of the other teams can, will, and do say it sucks and the NFL should get rid of it next year.

I mean it’s not that far off from saying Tyreek is too fast so he can’t run go routes  😂

I suppose that is a bit more fun to watch than every team doing this tush push play. It’s weird all teams didn’t copy it. It’s super effective.

Other teams can’t copy it. The Eagles have an elite OL and a QB who squats 600 lbs. :bandana:

That’s a big part of their success with it. Other teams could find a specialist that does it I think eventually. Again surprised no one did this year.

So the NFL decides make up a rule to stop it from happening because it’s kind of awful to watch. Pretty weak.

I’ll be curious to read the wording as to why it’s banned if it is.

Hurts’ big tush isn’t the issue. It’s the push.

OL pushed RBs downfield all the time. They’ll probably ban pushing a ball carrier behind the LOS or something.

It’s not a pretty play but I bet neutral football fans like seeing it, if only to see if anyone can stop it.

We should give credit to Sirianni too for having the brass balls to use it to much, even on his own side of the field. 😂

There's a thread on the first page of this very geek bored that wants both the tush push made illegal and the WR in motion get a head start, and that's directly based on what Tyreek Hill does from time to time.

Weak! Figure out a way to stop it don’t hate the player!

Tush push I guess could be argued if copied would make parts of the game unappealing.

How can we rob fans of the beauty of 4th and short runs up gut and a lower conversion rate?

Sucks about Tank, was having an incredible season.

The brotherly shove doesn't really bother me, it's legal. Keep doing it, or don't, whatever. Hurts does look pretty banged up though, maybe that's part of the reason.

They do this from like 3 yards out two consecutive plays, right? Not exactly the direction I think they want a bunch of teams copying. It’s not like Goodell is out to get Philly. That said I do see Philly being a bit salty if they change the rule.

Football has been around how many years? They're going to change the rules because it works?? Figure out how to stop it, if you can't, ohh well. That's football

Yes they do. I get why the league wants to ban it. Just seems lame to penalize the one team that does it well, but sports talk radio here is pretty resigned to the fact that it will be eliminated. I hope the Eagles come up with an even uglier unstoppable play next year. 😂

Some defensive coach will figure it out.  I'm not sure why they just don't put 2 safeties on each side to prevent the fake tush push, and have the other 9 guys just do a reverse tush push rugby scrum style.  Have the linebackers push the d-linemen's tushes.

Not me. I’d have some scub player flying over the pile before the ball was snapped and smashing the QB. That’ll learn em.

Like a tug of war, the D line vs the o-line

I tend to agree I can also see them not wanting this to be a direction a ton of teams take.

Only one team seems to be taking advantage of it.

Simple fix.

Go back to the rule where it is a penalty on offense to push a teammate that has the ball

I saw teams try it in college the past couple of weeks and it failed pretty much every time.

Why don't they direct snap to their biggest player and then push him through
