Probably poor taste, but I'm not going to get all bent out of shape over it.

Yeah, weird thing to say but so what? And it was four years ago

Bills getting ready to can him if they miss the playoffs.

If he resigns they wouldn’t have to pay him

Not out of the realm of possible. Shakier foundations have been laid…

I mean I’m not sayin this is what does it but it’s just mudding the waters a bit with the biggest shill in the game.

Dermie is a fraud.  Ive said it for years.  A bit of a weirdo.

Ty Dunne did the article.   Hes also the one who did the Rodgers/MM piece.

I know Ty.

I just found out this was actually from 2019.  Seems weird to finally bring it up like the reporter had some "gotcha!" moment.

There are 3 article and each one is real long.  Do you remember the MM Rodgers piece?  It is that but Bills.  The 9/11 thing is one situation of 500 covered in the article.

Yeah, but the new way of getting people does not place a limitation on how long ago.

Guys its not a 1 off gotcha on 9/11.

Its an insiders look speakinf to several former players and coaches on what goes on in that building.  You guys are duped by the clickbait headline.

Sure, why not, I mean I am sure there is more to know.  But using liberal logic here for a moment....."You cant prove he did anything wrong".   So using that logic we should not be looking into anything suspicious.  Apparently, liberals expect us to operate like an episode of Perry Mason.

Lol you totally miss the point of the article.   You guys act like its all about a 9/11 comment and trying to "get him".  The article is an inside look into that building.   The article isnt about proving he did something wrong he needs to apologize for.  Its about showing how he is the problem in buffalo.

My point is, go get him.....if he did something wrong.....if he fomented something negative...whatever, so be it I guess.

Ty did clickbiat the article (hes good at his job) and put that 9/11 out there for free.  As you finish thr small article you have to sign up for the newsletter for the 3 part very long article on McDermott and how people feel about the culture in the building.   It emphasizes his forced/awkward communication skills.  His ego and thrist for control.  And his overall lack of connection with players.

For instance, another paragraph out of many in the article explains how he took playcalling away from Frazier for a game, vs Reid his old boss. Ego.  On a breezy day his gameplan was to go with a light box and not get beat deep.  Well thr Chiefs ran for like 250, controlled the game and sort of handily won.

His constant blame of everyone but himself even though he has preached accountability from the start.

It isn't an article drumming up a 9/11 speech in attempts to get him in some sort of trouble.  It was to outline how out of touch he is.  Thr article even states players came up to him saying he didn't have to apologize then, even though it was said players would laugh and joke about the speech.

Reminds me of the old HS football coach at our school.  He wasn't an old guy.  But he tried to give a speech using Eminems one shot song as a baseline.  Well he butchered the lyrics in the speech and no one took it seriously.
