You think the death threats are fake? 🤣🤣🤣

In this thread, Stryker Ryker threatened to murder anyone that did this in his state.  The threats are real.  MAGAturds are dangerous.

Steve Scalice is just glad it was a liberal that shot him instead of a patriot.  Could have turned out worse.

Then you should never complain about voter ID ever again.  But you will because you're a hypocrite.

My main complaint about voter ID laws is that they have been deliberately enacted in heavily minority areas. The real intent, I believe, is not to secure legal voting (which is very secure already) but to discourage heavy minority voting in order to help Republicans win.

So who in majority areas are not following voter ID laws?

Blacks don't have ID's and are incapable of acquiring them, apparently.

Jim Crow 2.0!  Shhhh, don’t tell sleepy Joe that Georgia had record voter turnout after he said that. Where did all those people get an ID from?

What another load of crap.  You mean like the ENTIRE STATE OF GEORGIA?  That's a "heavily minority area" to you?  Because you railed against the Georgia voter ID law.  And then guess what happened?  They had record minority voting numbers in the election right after it was enacted. And a University of Georgia study showed that minorities said their experience voting was good.  Focking stop with your made up BS.  On EVERY issue.

Well, they fought pretty hard to keep the slaves but in the end, you are correct here. They suck at just about everything. Including shooting.

Yes the law backfired in Georgia because it pissed off black voters. I fear that was a short term result but we’ll see. The law was designed to curtail minority voting in a formerly red state that was becoming purple. Thats why I complained about it and I was correct to do so. Once again you’re totally wrong. It’s really embarrassing that you’re wrong so often and yet spend so much time calling out others.

Maybe you should ask someone else who belongs to the same party you do, you f'n POS.  You guys did fight a war to KEEP slavery, enacted Jim Crowe and created the KKK.  You should read your history.  Maybe next time you won't put your foot in your mouth.

Ass hole Trump supporters at it again. Too stupid to participate in a democracy and too authoritarian to honor the constitution…

Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows was the target of a swatting call on Friday night, according to state police.

Bellows: "It's designed to scare not only me but also others into silence, to send a message."

"We should be able to agree to disagree … without threats."

I’ve spent the last few days in Philadelphia and D.C.

It’s been so nice to hang out around and learn about our country’s foundation, the founding fathers, our origin story, the Liberty Bell, and I actually enjoyed seeing that excavated foundation of George Washington‘s (?) house…

But the best thing is, not a Trump Supporter in sight, what with all the hating of democracy and the constitution. This place is not really their thing.

Hey Philly… you might want to hire some immigrants to come in a clean up a little. Otherwise an excellent trip so far…

So, how did having an ID requirement negatively affect the black voters in this instance?  How will it negatively affect them going forward?

No, it just explains it more clearly and with more detail than I can. In poor and rural communities where lots of minorities live (particularly in the South) many don’t have IDs. Forcing them to get them and then making them wait to produce them are burdens that are designed to depress minority voting. Which indeed is the purpose. There is no significant voter fraud, that’s a myth: Thos whole issue, like so much of the MAGA movement, is all about certain white people uncomfortable with the growing racial diversification of America. Thats why you guys want to depress black voting, and put a wall on our border, and deport millions of darker skinned people, and shut down immigration from certain countries: it’s all part of the same pattern.

I will read later.  But does it specifically cite why GA had record turnout because they were p!ssed off, but expound on why it could be bad info term?

No it’s more general. Georgia had record turnout due mainly to black anger and the extraordinary efforts of Stacey Abrams who is a much better organizer than politician. She should be Biden’s campaign manager; he would be performing much better.

They have had years to get an ID. To be a focking part of this country, you have to at least give minimal effort.

And for you to say "depress black voting" and close the border are the same, you are just whacko.

Blacks are not being hindered. They are though expected to take advantage of opportunities they are given. Just like whites are.

And I'm all in on deport, deport, deport, illegals. Because they are....ILLEGAL.

Ok, I’m looking for more on the specific GA situation and their anger. Why do you fear this is a short term result?  Do you mean actual record turnout, or their ability to produce an ID would be short term?

I mean that the record turnout was an emotional result to an unjust law. But in the long run, making these folks go through hoops and wait in long lines will do what it’ was designed to: reduce their numbers at the ballot box.
