California Offering Health Insurance To Undocumented Immigrants

Dumbasses.  😆 Conservatives should be doing everything in their power to encourage and facilitate illegal immigration into that Liberal shitthole.  It is guaranteed to collapse.

Trump broke all these Left-Tards.  Someday history will have to explain describe the fall of California, and they’ll be left with this one compelling fact staring them right in the face:

66%. That’s how many Californians in 2021 supported expanding health insurance access to all undocumented immigrants, according to a report by the Public Policy Institute of California. That number is up 12% from 2015.

😆

I know this pisses a lot of you off, but economically it makes sense. Right now when undocumented immigrants get sick they go to the ER which ends up costing the taxpayer even more. Also consider tuberculosis: it costs $25 or so to inoculate, but once somebody gets it the cost runs into thousands of dollars. So for public health reasons we need to encourage these folks to get basic healthcare.

I can predict what the response will be: “well they shouldn’t be here in the first place.” But they are here. And despite what Trump is proposing there is never going to be any kind of mass deportation. It’s never going to happen. Nor are they ever going to self deport. So our choices, as a society, are limited. If we don’t give them adequate housing, as Chicago is doing, and health services, as California is doing, then the ultimate cost will be even higher for us.

I'd happily pay 10X as much to deport every single one of them.

No. I just want you to pay for it. And, I want you to go to prison when they commit crimes. It should ALL be on you.

Happily most Americans don’t agree with you either.

So you don't want to take responsibility for your actions. You want to put it on others.

That's like "buying" someone a car for Christmas and then telling them they have a 5 year high interest loan to pay off on it.

Tim doesn't appreciate the concept of a sovereign nation and the border security that is required to ensure that sovereignty.

He'd rather hire illegals to save a few bucks.

"Most Americans" = "People Who Live Near Me In My Bubble"

Although, to be fair, I don't want them shot either.  Just deported immediately back to their country of origin.

And do you know who ESPECIALLY doesn't want them here?  The actual immigrants that had to wait in line and/or pay and go thru the PROPER legal channels to get a chance to be a citizen.

Can’t have them giving birth to their anchor babies on the sidewalk.  Too much poop.

I don't remember which geek it was that suggested a two country penalty but I'm all in on that.

We deport them two countries south of where they came from. Let them walk through two countries of people they've historically sh!t on just to get back home.

How long before they vote in federal elections like Obama urged?

They pay sales tax on the few things they buy. So why not? Plus they are getting Id’s.

You’re right.  I should be able to vote in whatever countries I visit if I contribute to the economy.  You bought some Starbucks in Montreal?   Here’s your ballot.

That state is so focked. If you still live there, you really need to start asking yourself why.

High pay and high real estate values is the only reason I'm still here.

And I'll take advantage of both until I find the right spot in which to relocate.

I'm looking, diligently.

NorCal. Born and raised.

In the past I've stayed because my family was all here. Over the years those ties have loosened. At this point I'm pocketing as much change as I can while I look for someplace else to relocate. It will be my final destination so I don't want to rush it.

That's the plan. But the timing has to be right. If we can't bounce before the next RE crash, we'll probably have to suffer here a little longer.

It’s absolutely focked.  Open border + free healthcare = bankruptcy.  Guaranteed.  Not a question of if - but when.

Some do, yes.  And many more just suck it up and ride it out.  Now those people will be going to doctor’s offices.

Have fun waiting 6 months for your future doctor visits Tim.  You can’t fight math. 😆

The problem with “sucking it up and riding it out” is that then they become public health risks. Which is exactly what we don’t want as a society.

So many people are ignoring common sense on this issue. What we really need is give most of these folks a path to citizenship so that they can contribute more to our society. And we have to reform the damn immigration system. If we’re not willing to do that this situation is only going to get worse. The conservative “solutions” to this issue are not only unworkable they’re incredibly cruel and inhumane. Why can’t you guys work with us to solve this focking problem already?

So the democrats cause this crisis and the only acceptable solution is theirs. Isn’t that special?

They pay for themselves. They have always been, and remain, a net financial benefit.

What I don’t want to pay for is a border wall or mass deportation. Any money spent on those ideas should come directly from the MAGA folks who want them.

So the 100s of millions of dollars spend on the illegals is all paid for by the illegals?

Why do you think hotel managers in NYC are up in arms about the city not paying them to house the illegals?

Why do you think the Chicago mayor is taking $100M from chinese flu funds to house the illagals?

And you liberals need to spend for mass deportation because you let them all in. And you all should cover the costs for the fentanyl crisis we have because you let it all in.

Liberals are disgusting and useless.

Just because you want to hire people on the cheap, under the table, and not give benefits doesn't make anything you say of value.

But then you'd have to pay them minimum wage. :(

Also, there is a path to citizenship. It's the same path available to anyone, anywhere in the world. Just because you're within walking distance doesn’t mean you can cut the line.

I could refute each of these points but it’s not worth it with you. Your entire argument is based on bigotry and ignorance and I don’t see that changing.

Your argument is based on you can only afford under the table cheap labor from illegals who you won't provide benefits to.

You are the bad guy.
