MDC 7,408 Posted January 1, 2024 Couple times a week I read reviews at Pitchfork and Resident Advisor and check new releases on Metacritic. I also like to let my iTunes library run on random sometimes, gives me a heads up on music similar to stuff I like that I may not have heard yet. 1

Nomad99 742 Posted January 1, 2024 Prime Music recommendations. I also do random YouTube searches for covers....find some great ones & uncover a lot of bands I'm not aware of.

DonS 3,292 Posted January 1, 2024 After listening to an album, Spotify will continue playing artists that are in the same genre. That's how I learned about several prog bands. I also watched a year end wrap up video from The Prog Report and learned about some bands I hadn't previously known about.

Totally forgot about them. And for punk/hardcore Hate5six. So many good sets online.

cyclone24 1,913 Posted January 2, 2024 Yeah, usually on the country stations I have on SiriusXM. I might hear something and go that’s pretty good who is that and look up their stuff. And playing guitar that’s kind of fun to be able to see if you can then go and play it. I’m kind of late to Larry Fleet, but he’s pretty good.
