As I suggested yesterday, I think Rusty uses his Pimpledoosh account when he just wants to "normal" troll and his Ron Artest account when he's going full a-hole.   Only explanation I've got for why someone would actively use multiple accounts.  :dunno:

I strongly suspect that if any transgender people resort to this sort of evil craziness it’s not a result of the folks who support them, it’s caused more by the types who shun and reject and bully them. Again just a suspicion but I think it’s a pretty reasonable one.

I can get on board with that. Probably a good combination of both.

Lots of counter examples. Gun laws are much more restrictive in Mexico but their gun violence rates are even worse. Private gun ownership is effectively banned in Venezuela and they have one of the highest murder rates in the world.

Mexico and Venezuela are your counter examples?  How about comparison with other first world countries like Canada, UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Japan, etc. ?

So the stop the bullying campains they have now, safe spaces, teachers bending over backwards, inclusion events, and all the acceptance in society isn't working?

I agree though.  School shooters no matter the history are usually bullied in some fashion.  This is hardly ground breaking and has been common knowledge for basically ever.

It's almost like teaching kids that the world isn't fair might be a wise thing for us to do.  Too bad we stopped doing that 25 years ago.  Now we're reaping the repercussions of that choice.

It's caused because they have a mental disorder and we let them walk around and treat them like normal people when they aren't. They should be inside mental institutions.

I’m just tired of the charade. This isn’t left or right but just the whole show. I think all of us could probably do the speech after everyone of these events, we all have it memorized.

We praise, law-enforcement for the quick and decisive actions that saved lives. The EMS staff who worked with dispatch to get the wounded to the hospital. Work in the phrase, senseless act. Lower flags to half staff, put a patch on a jersey somewhere, hold a vigil, mention counseling services going to be available, blah blah blah blah blah.
then, none of them do a damn thing about it. Like why go through the show at all of trotting out a podium and making sure the backdrop is right and have agents stand there they’re going to say nothing. It’s just the same show over and over again and none of them on either side do a damn thing.

like take whatever money we were thinking of putting towards armed guards or metal detectors (that im aware nobody has) and hire more mental health counselors. That’s mandatory for four years of high school. Every student.

We have 300+ million people in this country.  In a free society there WILL be incidents.  Until the lefties are willing to acknowledge that FACT and talk about a baseline for when they will stop b*tching about gun control before the bodies have even been counted I'm not playing their game.  In this case the guns used were a handgun and shotgun which are the two weapons the lefties constantly tell us are the guns they DON'T want to take away from us.  Yet here we are talking about gun control already.  The only "charade" is the one where the lefties pretend they don't want to eliminate guns completely.  At least @GobbleDog doesn't push that notion.  He admits he wants to get rid of all of them.

No.  If you want to counter anything I've written go ahead.  The FACT is we have REASONABLE gun control in most of this country already.  Your post is a lazy post.  Just a drive by nothingburger post really.  Oh, and I say this frequently in these discussion, but it's worth noting.  I don't own a gun and likely never will.  But I see what the end game is from the gun control lobby.  So, I'm willing to listen to changes to our rules but only when supported by logic and/or data on how it will have an impact on these incidents and not just restrict gun rights with no ROI.

I don’t like @Strike’s attitude but I do think that his point is unfortunately correct. Even if we had the political will to take action about guns, it’s far too late to do anything that would have any meaningful effect.

You said kids wanted a cat box, I said the cat box thing was disproven, so did everyone, you posted a link with no mention of cat boxes.

The only batshiit person here is you. 🤣🤣🤣

And no the left doesn't support cat boxes in schools 🤣🤣🤣

This is not my point, and I'm not opposed to additional gun control.  I'm opposed to gun control theater that won't make a difference and will clog up our already congested court system.  When we can agree on a baseline for acceptable gun incidents and measures that may help us get to that baseline I'm more than willing to talk.  But when politicians say we need to ban guns they can't even define like "assault rifles" after an incident involving a handgun I tune out.

I'll simply quote a small portion of your first post, that I responded to:

Quote

I think all of us could probably do the speech after everyone of these events, we all have it memorized.

We praise, law-enforcement for the quick and decisive actions that saved lives.

Now, you didn't mention guns by name, but if you're not talking an incident that involved guns and a school you're getting in to @squistion territory, as Jerry noted in another thread.  I hope you don't want to be associated with his ability to argue semantics.

Okay let’s do Canada. They’re the 7th most heavily armed population in the world and 112th in murder rate. Shouldn’t they be dropping like flies?

I quoted your entire post, as did @lickin_starfish.  There was NOTHING about mental health in it.  So you edited it AFTER I quoted it.   So:

1)  Your original post had nothing to do with mental health.

2)  Don't give me sh*t for not rereading your edited post where you tried to pretend you had more to say than I quoted originally.

What a pathetic tactic, to edit a post and pretend I somehow ignored part of it.

Actually, I did add it prior to you, quoting it because I knew they’d be some dumb ass like yourself that would immediately go gun control!! Arrgg even though I didn’t mention the word guns. Again, thank you for being one of the bigger knucklehead dip shits on this forum.

if you grabbed it the second, I posted it then sure it didn’t have it on there but it was literally maybe 10 to 15 seconds. Either way you’re here splitting the atom over some thing that I wasn’t referring to at all. Keep your coward guns. I don’t care. I’m saying get the kids the mental help they need. Is that clear enough for you Rube?

Sure, two of us quoted it and didn't get your edit, but it's OUR FAULT we didn't see it.  🤣

Horrible, wish I could say I was surprised.

With the rhetoric that's come from the left on this topic, it's no surprise we're seeing more and more of this. These people aren't well, quit treating them like they are.

My case in point and set up perfectly. You grabbed it and qouted it. And look I edited that last one just to show you exactly what happened. That was 15 seconds. Either way try to keep up and get what I was getting at rather than biting your pillow that someone’s going to take your stupid guns

no, you’re not a dumb ass for not quoting the entire thing. You’re a dumb ass because I never mentioned the word guns and you just inferred it. Hth

Sure buddy.  But. to your POINT, giving every kid a mental health counselor is dumb and a waste of money too.  So you got that going for you.

Yes, because the way you’re doing it has done so well. Four days in and two school mass shootings. Great job buddy.
