So the stop the bullying campains they have now, safe spaces, teachers bending over backwards, inclusion events, and all the acceptance in society isn't working?

I agree though.  School shooters no matter the history are usually bullied in some fashion.  This is hardly ground breaking and has been common knowledge for basically ever.

The biggest common factors in these types of shootings are:  domestic violence/bullying, suicidal thoughts, and a fixation on the place where the shooting happened (often where #1 took place).     Of course those first two are very common in the history of the trans community, so it shouldn't be a surprise there would be shooters from that community.     The other factor that is more becoming more and more common is copy catting and studying other shooters.  So again, it would make sense to see a rise communities with those histories.

That said, that is different than people saying it's because they are trans or being trans makes them violent, which seem to be the card most of the Geek Club likes to play.

Greay job. Thoughts and prayers i guess

People love to blame everything on mental illness, but of course when a "solution" (as lickin' put it) that revolves around addressing mental health brushed aside.   I see it a lot on these threads.

Seems like a far better avenue than the band aids like metal detectors, guards, etc.

No way some fashion of counseling wouldnt help save lives and prevent something like this.

Some interesting ideas I've seen were things like you said - way more counselors in schools for starters.     People in crisis shouldn't have access to guns, but there are many roadblocks in preventing them access.   From things like lack of access to a minor's record when applying for a gun to lack of communication between teachers/counselors/law enforcement to help identify people likely to do something like things.  The vast majority of time there is 'leakage' with the shooter - they tell somebody their intent or they post about it.    But yes, all ideas are far more interesting to me than more locks on doors and arming teachers.

Are you going to trust a bunch of high school counselors with being able to deal with deranged/messed up high school kids? Thise kids are not seeking counseling. They are actively hiding from it. They plot and scheme.

To me it’s these kids don’t have any guidance….you have a combination of being told their mental illness is normal and so when they get bullied it’s almost twice as bad. Make it mandatory for every kid. Are you going to prevent 100%? No but my God it can’t hurt and would certainly help a lot of kids.
yeah, of course, money is going to be the biggest obstacle, but we find it for all kinds of other garbage.

https://fairplayforwomen.com/transgender-male-criminality-sex-offences/

There are studies that show that trans women (male to female) still have the same rate of violence than their cis-gender counterparts. So, just because you're a dude taking hormones doesn't mean that your violent streak goes away. Nearly 50% of transgender female prisoners have also been convicted of at least one sexual offense. So, being trans-female doesn't seem to help r@pe stats either. Just saying.

of course this study applied to individuals already in prison, but I can't imagine that the non-prison population would be different, they just haven't been caught yet.

So, does being trans make you violent? Perhaps not, but it certainly doesn't make it "better."

Quote

2018 the MOJ released statistics showing half of the people in prison who declare themselves transgender have been sentenced with one or more sexual offences. We have now obtained new data which is the clearest and most recent evidence confirming the vast majority of these trans sex offenders were born male. These MOJ statistics show that transgender women exhibit a male-type pattern of criminality. We conclude that transwomen in prison exhibit a propensity to sexual crime that matches their birth sex and not their gender identity.

Our country is not lacking money and resources.    We just need to follow the money to see where our priorities actually are.   Often the answer is perpetual war.

THIS KID WAS NOT TRANS!!!!!!!

Nonbinary genders, including genderfluid, fall under the transgender umbrella. If a transgender person has a gender identity that changes throughout their life, they may identify as genderfluid. However, a genderfluid person may choose not to use the term “transgender” to describe themselves.

0 clue why that is in a post addressing one of mine.   I certainly wouldn't suggest that.   Me?  I would expect it to be right in line with what you posted above and that's it's the factors that I listed above that correlate with the incidents not a answer either way of trans or not trans.

Transgender.

Genderfluid.

So, instead of just picking the "other" gender, they kind of float between whatever they feel like that day?

Sounds LGBTQ+ to me. I dunno.

Counselors to tell tranny kids that it's abnormal while teachers push it?

Rough times we are in with liberal "logic" permeating society. I don't know if a bunch of underpaid liberal minded 28 year old councelors are going to help the situation much. They may even fan the flames.

Definitely a fair concern. Just think we have to try something different. Something substantial. More guards and more guns isn’t going to solve this issue.

That's why I have just started using "alphabet" people because they're all under the same umbrella but you never know what the person you're talking to is going to use (LGBT, LGBTQ, LBGTQ+, etc....) so it's easier just to say alphabet people.

metal detectors?  just throwing something out there.  if lunatics are going to abuse the system maybe create safeguards to protect the system.

I am sure you think it is, but it also instantly identifies you as a bigot when you can't address a minority group with the terminology of their own choosing.

And I doubt it is more burdensome to type out "LGBT" rather than the word "alphabet"

The problem isn't typing out LGBT.  I did that for decades.  It's the @squistion I'm talking to who THEN calls me a bigot for not including a T or a + or a D because they identify as a dog that bothers me.  And I'm not playing that game any more semantics boy.

Another Straw Man (more in this forum tonight than in the entire state of Kansas).

I've never criticized anyone for not including a letter after the LGB designation.

Everyone one of these incidents just breaks my heart, and yet we continue to do nothing to prevent them from happening.  So sad.

In the 1800’s and the 1900s we put people in mental institutions for depression, stuttering, and a myriad of other mental issues deemed not socially acceptable by today’s understanding with therapy and drugs. Some were given lobotomies, which did nothing but make them worse. Google lobotomies and psychiatric patients at the turn of 1900’s. Should we go backwards and do that? Some that we share this planet with are fawking mental with no conscious or regard for anything. And we as a society accept it and the media does as well giving them it. The days after of the Las Vegas massacre was my wake up call and also Pinhook. You ever notice how the Vegas incident isn’t talked about anymore. It’s been swept under the carpet by all. And the social media ignited those flames to those. This has been happening since the beginning of man.

This type of thinking should receive nothing but widespread public ridicule. That’s the only way to defeat this insanity.

I'm black. I choose that. Now address me as such.

And I'm Ukrainian as well. Address me as that. I'm your dad, address me as that. I'm embarrassed by you. Address me as a person who is your dad and blew it it with your drunk mom.

It's how a person identifies right? It has nothing to do with reality. Am I right? :dunno:

No, DNA tests can probably prove to a great extent what is reality no matter how one identifies.

Or do you need a dna test to help you figure that out?

The latest we have is this kid was bullied for years and reached his breaking point.  He made the terrible decision to kill people and then himself and now everyone suffers from his cowardly abhorrent actions.

His weapons were a shotgun and a .22 handgun, which is major reason why there is only 1 dead.

He was not transitioning, was not taking hormones which caused any of this, was not radicalized.

He may have been influenced by Columbine.

More to come.  Tragic all around.

Continue with your misinformation and hatred.
