Mike Honcho 5,283 Posted January 13, 2024 Quote Trump ordered to pay New York Times, three reporters nearly $400,000 in legal costs over dismissed lawsuit A New York judge on Friday ordered Donald Trump to pay The New York Times and three of its reporters nearly $400,000 to cover their legal costs for a lawsuit filed by the former president that was dismissed last year. Trump sued the Times and the reporters over a 2018 investigation into his finances and taxes that was based in part on confidential tax records. The resulting series of articles won a Pulitzer Prize, the most prestigious award in American journalism, in the category of explanatory reporting. Among those articles was one titled, “Trump Engaged in Suspect Tax Schemes as He Reaped Riches from His Father.” Times spokeswoman Danielle Rhoades Ha, in a statement to CNBC, said the order for legal costs issued in Manhattan Supreme Court “shows that the state’s newly amended anti-SLAPP statute can be a powerful force for protecting press freedom.” He sure is a shrewd businessman . 1

Tree of Knowledge 1,859 Posted January 13, 2024 Hopefully when Father Trump is elected he disbands all left wing illegitimate government In cesspool areas like NYC and either makes them wards of the executive branch or places them under competent stewardship. Long overdue.

Long overdue. For sure. We need fewer NYC's (#1 city in the entire world) and more MAGA strongholds like West Virginia and Mississippi. Then Trump's work to collapse our country and economy can be complete. Blue counties produce 75% of this country's GDP despite being many many fewer than poor, dumb red counties. Red counties do lead quite bigly though in number of churches, meth cook houses, and trailer parks. Love this for you boyos.
peenie 1,915 Posted January 13, 2024 Trump is a liar and his followers are fools. Donald Trump, President of the United States from January 2017 to January 2021, controversially refused to release his tax returns after being elected president, although he promised to do so during his campaign.

But it's ok that 81M "people", including yourself, voted for Biden who's been making millions from foreign governments for political influence as well as capitalizing financially of the market for 40+ years because of his inside information on bills, spending, and advanced knowledge of market trends? If you can, point me in the direction of the website that shows what shady dealings politicians can be involved in, where it's still ok for me to vote for them. Or is it just a matter of, if the politician is affiliated with Democrats, everything is ok... otherwise, it's bad?
