Pro-Palestinian protesters crowded the White House gates

Pro-Palestinian Protest Ends Up At Biden’s Front Gate

Quote

A smaller group of protesters moved to the fences in front of the White House in the evening following the main rally, where they were seen banging on the barrier and chanting, according to an X video from reporter Julio Rosas. In another video, protesters can be seen increasingly pushing against the fence, prompting Secret Service personnel to man the area to prevent a breach, with attendees heard saying, “ Joe Biden.”

Please pardon the source of the article, but it would seem that MSM is.....perhaps unaware.....that this transpire.....this...."attack on our Democracy" 🤭

They need to go to Delaware if they want to talk to Biden.

Why didn't they shoot at least one? Tell them to get back and stop attacking the gate. If they don't, shoot.

That's the standard.

How many selfies did they take?

I didn't understand why Herb said Ray should be embarrassed by "this", but then when MDC and worms agreed, I realized I was missing something, so I double checked and I still don't get it.

Was it the "attack on democracy" line? It's got to be and if so, it would be Herb, MDC, and worms who don't get it even though he'd used this emoji 🤭 to help out.

Of course it is, if it highlights how inane this concept is and possibly the cartoonish usage elsewhere

of course….😉

To me, Ray posted this as some equivalency to Jan 6th. I consider that stupid. maybe I missed his meaning with the hand on mouth emoji..if that somehow changes that meaning, please explain.

There are some people who pretend something of historical significance happened on "January 6th!!" a "Muh insurrection!" when a bunch of unarmed protestors entered the capitol and then expect everyone else to get bent out of shape over it.

Then these same people didn't seem to mind a historical church across from the White House being set on fire, Supreme Court justices being allowed to be intimidated in their homes,  and now a sea of Palestinian flags including an ISIS flag prominently displayed amongst them outside the capitol that fit right in, no problem.

And then they wonder why nobody takes them seriously.

Not really. Although if you feel that way, the election we are talking about occurred in 2020.

The term 'insurrection' used that month after was simply a messaging tactic that some liberal politician told the news stations to start using when initially they where saying the word 'riot'.

The liberals needed to try to distant themselves as much as they could from the riots of 2020. So they needed another word.

EVERYONE knows the riots of 2020 were much more an insurrection than the measly push and shove selfiefest of jan 6 fame. I have been to music concerts that were rougher than that thing the liberals call an 'insurrection'

I can think of a few ways that breaking into a federal building and assaulting cops and lighting a church on fire is different than shaking a fence and waving a bad flag.

I guess the bombs that were set off inside the Capitol in 1971 and 1983 weren’t worse. Oh wait, those were left wingers. Never mind.

No, it was 2016 when you fully and irrevocably committed to the cult of Trump.

Actually might’ve been earlier, around 2010ish, with the Tea Party cranks and the racist Birther movement (championed by Trump), but I would wager the transformation was not complete until ‘16.

Let me refrest you memory here. 2016 was a tough election for me, Trump had gotten off to a poor start with his birther nonsense and flamboyant personality. The "make Mexico pay for it" line was stupid  and later "Grab 'em by the pu$$y" was worse. I didn't like him at all.  Meanwhile, candidates I did like such as Jim Webb for the Dems or John Kasich and Rand Paul weren't getting anywhere.  I did however appreciate Trump's policy proposals and he had his moments. When he tore into Jeb! over the Iraq war, he spoke for the whole country.

I was lukewarm on him when he won. I opposed his and GOP efforts to replace Obamacare. It really wasn't until a year and a half into office when NAFTA getting scrapped in favor of USMCA that I really warmed to Trump and when everything really clicked into gear.

Prior to Trump, I did have affinity for the Tea Party movement but I had been skeptical of them because they'd only really materialized during Clinton's presidency than after the Bushtard left office. Someone on the right making noise about deficits would have been useful while that focking fool was in office. I was like "where the fock were you guys."

I'm going to let it go and try laying off the personal insults with you like I do with HT.

Shortly after, one of the local news stations interviewed people who lived nearby, many of which were senior citizens. They wondered where they were going to shop for groceries ?

Many small mom and pop grocery stores were burned as well, & very few rebuilt.  All this for a criminal named George Floyd.

Yeah, that whole "Go protest peacefully and patriotically" was some serious offense against the nation by Trump.

And your hero kameltoe set up funding to bail out liberal violent focks who were burning down buildings, looting stores, and throwing molotov cocktails at police while killing innocent people across the country.

Good job peanut, voting her into office.

You are guilty of insurrection by supporting that crap by voting in the leadership of those violent liberals.

Okay, fair enough. Beginning was 2010ish, 2016 was an inflection point and you were fully committed by 2018 or so.

I guess, bottom line, in my eyes, you used to be a reasonable poster. Not one I agreed with very often but clear-eyed and rational in your viewpoints. I don’t see that anymore, like for instance where you support comparing attacks on police officers, sacking the capital, and seeking to kill the vice president to a run of the mill throng outside the White House gates. To me, that indicates a person that has lost all perspective and rationality.

But you are right, I don’t want to engage in personal insults and that’s not what I’m trying to do here. It is a little tough because I am fundamentally suggesting that you have MAJORLY lost your way, which is, yes, perhaps a bit insulting from your perspective, but ultimately my only point is I’d like to see you make your way back towards the path of reason. Not that we have to agree on the issues — because that’s not likely to happen often — but that we are based in reality when discussing them. Because I do think you’re better than a lot of these other MAGA types who’ve gleefully given in.

That is the underlying tragedy of it all. The $2B in insurance claims was just the tip of the iceberg. The destroyed lives of innocent people has been completely dismissed by the whole liberal deflection to the selfiefest. They control the media so...
