No. What happened is Joe's Republican friends (after Trump got elected) complained to him that the forum was not a hospital place for them and that they didn't feel welcome (of course that's because in defending Trump and GOP policies is often defending the indefensible). 

So, to balance things out, Joe and mods cracked down on liberal posters, suspending them for things that they looked the other way with for Trump supporters (such as allowing insults, much like you see here). Don't believe that lying sack of sh#t.  Between him and DozerPOS they're trying to revise the actual history of what happened.  That in no way is what happened.  Liberal posters were getting away with untold board violations because the mods themselves were so anti-Trump and protected them.  There NEVER was a time where  "mods cracked down on liberal posters, suspending them for things that they looked the other way with for Trump supporters".  Ever.  That never happened.   That's complete propaganda and lies that he's pushing forth. 

What happened was that the mods actually started enforcing the same rules on liberal posters like squidtard that they had been enforcing on conservative posters the entire time.  Never were conservative posters let off the hook, even after liberals were starting to get pinched.  They just started applying the rules fairly and equally across the board.

They all seem to know what happened there behind the scenes. Me, I have no idea. All I know is that I enjoyed my discussions there, including with Joe, and my posts weren’t much different than they are here. I think the whole reporting/complaining thing was pretty stupid. If I had to do it over I would never had reported anyone. 
 

IMO, Joe could have avoided all of his concerns by putting up a warning for the Political Forum, something like “the people posting in here can be rude, crass and insulting. Disagreement on issues sometimes brings that out. If you’re easily offended please stay away.” And then he could have avoided almost all of the moderation issues and let things fly.

This actually may be true. I can’t say for sure. But I did notice that most of my suspensions occurred in the last couple of years, and my commentary and tone wasn’t any different than what it was before. So you may be right about that.

I didn’t follow or really give a get shet about who got suspended or why closely on FBG’s but they put plenty of people in the pokey - across the spectrum. It wasn’t too hard to tell what type of post would get it. It was insane and tons of work I would imagine. Place was pretty decent for political chat. 

People crying about it being unfair are either stupid, struggle with understanding basic human interaction, or want to be some type of victim.

I got banned a million times from FBGs because of the alt right losers reporting me.  Just like I caught a year ban here because of the alt right losers snitching.

I laugh at this as well.  It seems everybody "knows" for sure who caused Joe to pull the plug or who he "really" hated behind the scenes.   Odd that there is never any proof or anything.   

My opinion is that it's similar to around here.   There are a handful of people who take this way too seriously, and other people who think it's funny to poke them instead of just ignoring them.     There are people I suspect more than others, and it's the same group that is now sniping at each other over here and can't seem to quit each other.    I think the difference is that Joe seemed to welcome the reporting and it got to the point where people were PMing him and emailing him about this crap, and he just said fock this.    "Grown" men doing this. 

My opinion is that most of the TOs are becuase people were being and they knew it when they posted, and both sides were reporting in an effort to get people they didn't like booted from the forum.   Like you said, though - I have no idea and I wasn't on the PSF nearly as much as some so I am sure there is crap I missed as well.

League Champion was suspended a couple times for about a month and then came back, so I expect he will be returning shortly.

Blue Horseshoe may have gone to that great stable in the sky. He must have spent literally 6 to 8 hours a day just finding the quotes and links used in his posts. He apparently didn't have anything else to do with time and I doubt that he would just stop unless something happened to him.
