What should we do about the drone attack in Jordan?

Well, you got me, one person in the media said "We should all be angry that Trump is moving us closer to a possible world war"  and some people on the "Social Media News Discussion Forum"(seriously????) who also might have discussed it.  Clearly I should have been able to  "remember the TDS when Trump killed a terrorist how it was gonna start WW3."...it was such a prevalent thought sweeping the world.

I have liberal friends who literally lost sleep over this, convinced that we were launching into WW3 because of Trump.

Didn't happen.

And yet with Biden, here we are with Ukraine, Hamas, Houthis, etc etc etc. It would be perfect timing for a terrorist attack here in the US, really.

So now the Houthis are shooting missiles at our naval ships. I guess they didn’t get the memo when Biden and Kamala said don’t.

3 American soldiers dead, 30 injured. Biden vows we will respond. Lindsay Graham wants us to bomb Iran. Tucker Carlson says Graham is crazy. Trump blamed Biden for weakness but didn’t offer any ideas on what to do.

What should we do?

So now that you got your input, what are you doing about it?

That’s pretty good. I try to imagine Biden acting like that. I can’t.

Things are happening. 85+ targets at seven sights were hit. The ball is in Iran's court now,  we'll see what happens next. 🍿

U.S. isn't done; more attacks planned.

They would prolly be more effective if we didn't wait a week then telegraph them before striking.

I speak for all Americans when I say this administration is the biggest joke this country has ever had to endure.

I completely agree. The article I read said they had time to scatter/move and probably did.

Republican senator Roger Wicker, a ranking member of the armed services committee, criticised the Biden administration for the airstrikes coming “far too late”.

The Associated Press reports it is unclear what the impact of the strikes will be. Days of US warnings may have sent militia members scattering into hiding. With multiple groups operating at various locations in several countries, a knockout blow is unlikely, the news agency says.

We telegraph the attacks because we don’t want them to lead to a war. The fact that you don’t get that makes YOU the joke, not the administration.

We never planned on a knockout blow; we don’t want one. And Wicker is playing politics.

Just keep in mind that these troops were killed defending the Syrian/ Jordanian border. That’s why they were there.

At this point we just set off an expensive fireworks show that the taxpayers get to pay for.  By the time we did this, anything we hit was empty.
