I remain opposed to what was done to Clinton, a position I have sustained all along.  Hunter Biden has been well-protected by a justice system that has held others accountable, they lied for him and protected  emphatically.    I care little about Hunter other than his usefulness in noodling out the totality of the criminal activity around his father.

What I think you are not really considering is how this lawfare and over-prosecution resonates for the average person not in possession of your bias. A reasoned person looks at what has been done and wants to pull the Democrats to the side and say.....guy, you are way overplaying all this....its like some cartoon now and you all look a little unhinged....

I think your bias is showing big time.

He couldn’t be on trial when he was Prez so all his BS just piled up and here we are.

Keep bending over backwards to show your impartiality 😂😂

I absolutely have bias.  I hate politicians, and I disdain the powerful overreaching, as they have in this case.  That is my bias.

Agreed. I accept that others have their own point of view, and am happy to disagree with those folks without denigrating them; it is important that we not assume we have the only answer, or are always correct.  We believe things, and should remain ready to always update our beliefs as new information emerges.

If you felt it was something not worth your time you would not have bothered with the ad hominem, but instead you vent your frustrations from a personal level

no ray, your bias is humping for conservatives. pointing this out is not some ad hominem attack. you responded to thegenerals post about truth social lawsuits with abuse of the legal system nonsense. when you knew he was pointing to Trumps history of bilking everyone in business with him. you carry that water all the time. that you deny it is hilarious.

I understand that you might feel that way.  You perhaps were not participating in the threads where I held conservatives accountable, since there are fewer opportunities to ding them vs liberals, it is entirely plausible.  The issue might also be that Democrats no longer really try to hide their corruption, in fact they seem to celebrate it....so its right in our face....whereas Republicans do seem more inclined to hide it.

Now going back to Trump, the attacks on him are wrong....plain and simple...and if they were doing this to someone else, it would still be wrong.

I think sacrificing who you are, or at least pretend to be, to take down your ideological opponents is a road we should avoid.

Okay ask yourself if Trump was not running for president as a republican whether he would be being sued in New York for supposedly inflating real estate on a loan application where all banks were paid back with interest and no one was hurt?

1st part could be true, I see what I see here. I think when you state there are fewer opportunities to ding Rs, you are just showing your bias again, and that this place is more R leaning. I don't agree that Trump is being attacked.

Again, the opportunities are likely fewer because the Republicans are likely just hiding it more, the Democrats really dont hide it any more, so its easier to point out.....

Trump is absolutely being mistreated here, now that is all good and fine, but the longer term consequences could be something we might not like....sure it feels good to hurt this guy today, and you get to scratch that itch.....but the precedent set is not ok

Lots of people on the right think Clintons impeachment wasn’t warranted. Tough to find any of you bloodsucking leftist leeches that Think Trumps wasn’t.

Not related to Trump, but doesn't it seem like it should be...

Two plead guilty to insider trading related to Trump Media merger

Two men pleaded guilty on Wednesday to insider trading in securities in the company that ultimately took former U.S. President Donald Trump's media business public.
Michael Shvartsman, 53, head of Miami-based venture capital firm Rocket One Capital, and his brother Gerald Shvartsman, 46, each pleaded guilty to one count of securities fraud before U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman in Manhattan.
Rocket One's chief investment officer, Bruce Garelick, is scheduled to face trial on related charges on April 29.

Prosecutors charged the trio last year with illegally trading on inside information about Trump Media & Technology Group's (TMTG) (DJT.O), opens new tab plan to go public through a merger with a blank-check company. TMTG operates Truth Social, Trump's main social media platform.
Prosecutors said the trio signed confidentiality agreements in June 2021 when they were approached to become early investors in Digital World Acquisition, the blank-check company. The agreements required them to keep information they learned confidential and not trade the company's securities in the open market, prosecutors said.

After hearing the company was in merger talks with TMTG, prosecutors said the trio tipped others and bought Digital World securities, selling them after the deal was announced on Oct. 20, 2021, to make a total of $22 million in illegal profit.
Michael and Gerald Shvartsman said in court that they knew what they were doing was wrong when they traded on nonpublic information.
"I've made a terrible mistake," Gerald Shvartsman said at the hearing.

Perjury deserves impeachment.

Obstruction of justice can always be twisted but they all do it in one way or another.

But lying under oath is no good and deserves recourse.

Shokin needed to go per many people, world bank, imf, etc., and he was VP. Biden wasnt on his own.

Your take away from Trumps Jan. 6th rally being go peacefully and make your voices heard is silly.

Was impeachment too far..maybe.

Biden announced in April 2019. Call with Trump and Zelensky was in Sept. Shokin was fired in March 2016. Ron Johnson even wrote a letter to Ukraine saying Shokin is corrupt and gotta go. No one was calling for anything being looked into. Trump did this as an attempt to smear Biden.

You will have to explain this again in a month or so.
