Sues school district

Recommended Posts

A trans boy is doing so, because he’s not allowed to use the girls bathroom.  Thank you Jesus for that school district, and I hope that they don’t cave in.

More to the story than just that. According to the article, she came out as transgender in 2022, and "Since then she has lived in accordance with her female gender identity at school and in all aspects of her life."

Transgender middle schooler files federal lawsuit against Elkhorn School District

A transgender middle school student has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the Elkhorn Area School District for denying her access to girls’ restrooms for the last two years.

The 31-page complaint, filed March 21 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, alleges the Elkhorn Area School District violated Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. [...]

According to the complaint, the student, referred to as Jane Doe, disclosed her gender identity to school officials in the fall of 2022. She was then allegedly forced to enter into a “Gender Support Plan,” requiring her to use faculty restrooms at the middle school.

“These restrooms, which were located further away from her classes than the nearest girls’ restrooms, caused Jane to miss class time and to experience distress at being treated differently from other girls at school,” said her attorney, Joseph Wardenski, who leads a New York-based civil rights law firm.

Jane is 13 years old. She was born male, but according to her family, began experiencing gender dysphoria in third grade. She came out as transgender at home and school in 2022.

“Since then, she has lived in accordance with her female gender identity at school and in all aspects of her life,” Wardenski said. “She uses a traditionally female name, Jane, instead of her traditionally male birth name. She uses the pronouns she, her, and hers, which are pronouns typically used by women and girls. Because Jane is a girl, she wishes to be treated like every other girl at school.” [...]

One problem with that story, "Jane" is not a girl.

There is no more to the story, a young man wants to playhouse and pretend he’s a girl, but it’s real life, and it’s crap.  Born a boy, he’s going to die a boy.  No matter what surgeries or changes he try’s, he’s still a boy, who has to reason to be in a girls bathroom.  End of story.

A middle schooler isn’t suing anybody the parents are. The parents who instead of getting this kid the mental guidance he needs fed into it in enabled this behavior. Can we just fast forward to where this kid just unalives himself in his 20s.
Hopefully one of these unhinged weirdos doesn’t go whack a bunch of people first

It would be nice to focus on the housing crisis, our broken healthcare system, the opioid epidemic, etc. vs. where people drop a deuce, but that’s where we’re at.

I guess the courts will decide who gets the win here, but it is nice to see that some localities are willing to stand up to stupidity and child abuse

How does a pre-pubescent boy have "gender dysphoria"?  He didn't have any hormones with which to conflict.

Also, this is exactly what I was talking about in the other thread regarding women's prisons.  Progressives won't stop until these boys can use the girls bathrooms, locker rooms, spas, etc.  :(

Does it have a phallus and/or balls in a scrotum?  if so it uses the boys room.  Does it have ovaries and/or a uterus, if so it uses the girls room.  If it is a hermaphrodie it can use the faculty facilities, the principal's facilities, or it can use a bucket in the janitor's closet.

The discomfort of the one does not outweigh the discomfort of the many.

Having conflicting hormones is not a requirement for a diagnosis of "gender dysphoria"

What's the "more to the story"?  OP said a student is suing the school district because he can't use the girls bathroom.  That's exactly what you posted, but took 250 more words to do it.  :dunno:

Yes, I am aware of that.

Quote

The DSM-5-TR defines gender dysphoria in children as a marked incongruence between one’s experienced/expressed gender and assigned gender, lasting at least 6 months, as manifested by at least six of the following (one of which must be the first criterion):

  • A strong desire to be of the other gender or an insistence that one is the other gender (or some alternative gender different from one’s assigned gender)
  • In boys (assigned gender), a strong preference for cross-dressing or simulating female attire; or in girls (assigned gender), a strong preference for wearing only typical masculine clothing and a strong resistance to the wearing of typical feminine clothing
  • A strong preference for cross-gender roles in make-believe play or fantasy play
  • A strong preference for the toys, games or activities stereotypically used or engaged in by the other gender
  • A strong preference for playmates of the other gender
  • In boys (assigned gender), a strong rejection of typically masculine toys, games, and activities and a strong avoidance of rough-and-tumble play; or in girls (assigned gender), a strong rejection of typically feminine toys, games, and activities
  • A strong dislike of one’s sexual anatomy
  • A strong desire for the physical sex characteristics that match one’s experienced gender

As with the diagnostic criteria for adolescents and adults, the condition must also be associated with clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning.

https://www.psychiatry.org/patients-families/gender-dysphoria/what-is-gender-dysphoria

I'm questioning the ability to identify a significantly strong enough desire or preference in a child who doesn't even know what the hormones associated with his/her sex feel like.  Does he throw a tantrum?

The above sounds a lot like a tom boy or effeminate boy, possibly eventually gay.

Genocide Joe supports sex changes for minors. Considering his track record as a father and grandfather maybe he should stay out of it.
