Why don’t you walk into a Dominos and order a pizza and tell me how long it takes to get your pizza.  I’m sure it will be about 5x longer than what Mod Pizza advertises.  Of course they charge about double for this convenience, and it doesn’t look like it tastes much if any better than Dominos, which is why I’ve never eaten in one and likely why several are closing.

Most Dominos also don’t have seating.

So Metal Helmet guy's argument is that the company who once promised to get you your pizza delivered in under 30 minutes or it's free hasn't figured out how to make pizza just as quick as Mod Pizza.  

They do have benches in at least some Domino's locations, but I'll give it to you, their model isn't for dine in.  Congratulations.  Guess what, their name and logo is different too!

The total closures probably are happening for a range of influences, but at the end of the day the locations are simply not making money.

The California stores are being attributed to the wage issue
