Been handling firearms for 55+ years.  Never had an accidental discharge. I never pointed one at anything I ws not prepared to shoot.  I have had idiots point them at me or perhaps towards me may be more accurate.  

 

Kid was cavalier about the weapon.  You can't be cavalier.  He did not learn the hard way here as he did not live long enough to process the lesson.
