Akron Ohio Mass Shooting - 1 dead and 25 wounded

AKRON, Ohio — A 27-year-old is dead and at least 25 were injured following a shooting in an Akron neighborhood overnight, officials said.

Akron Police said the shooting happened during what they describe as a “large house party” near Kelly and 8th avenues. Neighbors said the shooting happened at about midnight.

Akron Police said one victim is in critical condition at an area hospital. The other injuries are described as non-life threatening.
