Reuters Fact Check found no evidence online to support the claim that any such payment was made, and no news reports related to such a lawsuit.

The headline and text in the screenshot shared on social media appear to originate in a longer blog post first published in July (archive.ph/VFPDI) by “America’s Last Line of Defense,” a website that describes itself as satirical.

 

The “about” section of that website describes the blog as part of a network of “parody, satire, and tomfoolery” (archive.ph/wip/dbeCv) and states that “everything on this website is fiction. It is not a lie and it is not fake news because it is not real. If you believe that it is real, you should have your head examined.”

I looked into it myself. The bottom of the page says "nothing on this page is real" and one of the contributors is named "Craven Morehead," which uh, maybe I should have named my son that. https://patriotpartypress.com/

One glaring error that I noticed is that your factchecker identified Schiff as a Senator, which he is not, he is a Congressman.
