I see little value in listening to Biden and Trump lie about what they've accomplished and what they plan to do (they each had 4 years; why didn't they do "it" already?). To me the value is in assessing Biden's mental acuity in a challenging environment.

Because Trump couldn’t debate himself out of a wet paper bag. It’s a debate. It’s a thing. Intellectuals and politicians have been participating in them for centuries. There are technically winners and losers. One side, be they an individual or team, presents their side of the subject better, more clearly, with supporting points that convince a judge that they have indeed won the debate. This is what you get when you nominate a Dumb fok like Trump. It’s part of the job that Trump is wholly incompetent to even attempt. Trumps gross incompetence across the board make Joe Biden a palatable choice.

BeachGuy23 642 Posted June 17, 2024 Hysterical how cultist don't realize that normal debates don't have unhinged, orange morons talking over and interrupting the opponent with childish one-liners as a primary strategy. And of course the WWE IQ level cultists believe that a rowdy crowd is something that should be part of a debate. It's like cultists want to prove how stupid they are all day every day and how they are the very very least our country has to offer. Cultist have brought Idiocracy to life. I was speaking primarily about the lack of bright lights, big stage, a crowd with whom to interact, gauge responses, etc. Those are allowed in political debates, are they not, Dozer? Or is it not important to gauge a presidential candidate's ability to interact with people?

If Trump’s people were more “effective” in 2020 his VP goes along with this fake electors plan and who knows what happens. It’s a total shitshow beyond what has already occurred. Trump should have been disqualified from this position for these actions. The Senate passed the buck and didn’t do it. In my estimation they did this because they assumed Jan 6th would have killed his political career off so why get their hands messy.

It's about their ability to present coherent counter arguments. Not make up the stupidest nickname or stalk around the stage like a deranged lunatic. Trump has really broken you people and just crushed your expectations of what your leaders should be. SAD

Did your high school have a debate team? They compete with other schools? No??? Come on… the debate team. A bunch of the smart, nerdy, non-jock kids matching intellect.
