One, although they did a great job convincing us that the kid was dead, the fact that she was alive seemed somehow inconsistent with the plot. Two, I didn't get why Creasy (Denzel) went with the bad guys in the end. The deal was a life for a life -- little girl for bad guy's brother. Yet he walked over that bridge to the Voice, and they took him like they expected it. Maybe I missed something, probably. Or maybe he didn't want to die in the presence of the mom and girl.
